The more Grens the better. 4-5 Gren with either 1 mg or mortar I feel does alright. If you can predict where that clown car is headed by listening in the fog of war, you can blob your grens and quickly do a lot of damage. Even if it is the sniper/M3 you only lose a bit of MP for a load of map control provided its a map with shot block present.

Get T2 with a HT and you can hold ground and reinforce for the occasional man that gets picked off. I find this works well and then get a SC, upgunned or not to have the potential to waste them snipers.

I always use the fast clown strat and I find Grenadiers are the biggest threat. One hit and it slows to a crawl. More threatening than a scout car as I find I always hear a scout car so get away.

Trust me Grenadiers are the best counter early. Other units never make me want to retreat.

a faust + a (lucky) mortar shell = instant M3 and squad death

i usually do 4 grens with MG start and later HT to reinforce and kurwa car can suck a 8==========D

Why use a Mortar when you can use MGs?

Anyways, my go-to strat is 3x Gren 2x MG42. Grens will handle any clown cars and HMGs in this game are all overpowered as shit so all you need to do is park those in some buildings and lock them out of the map.
