RTS isn't really dying theres just a lot more strategy games today than there was in the past, so people are finding their niche game rather than sticking to a few titans like in the SC2/CnC/AoE days.

It shouldn't have to be said, but if you keep making posts calling Power Core a "MOBA mode", they're going to be deleted. It's not constructive and only leads to endless in-thread arguments.

Power Core mode is the MOBA-mode for short hand description though. It was specifically designed that way due to MOBA influences and even Philippe Boule has talked about it.
"When we went to make Dawn of War 3, specifically the multiplayer, we did spend some time looking at MOBAs and decided to pick and choose some lessons there."
"...What we liked about the objective in those games, and the lesson we took, is creating some specific places on the map that become concentrations especially for the late game - quick things you know you want to attack, you know you want to defend."
"That is the multiplayer game at launch," Boulle confirms. "Other modes are definitely something we want to explore post-launch, but at launch it's this power core gameplay mode."
