Well, Id be lying if I wasn't raging; but that is not the point.
I am struggling, REALLY struggling fighting against early game OKW as Soviets.
I honestly cant handle the early game Deathblobs of strums.
The new Maxims are complete Garbage, and do nothing for you in the early game unless you mass blobbing them, which is just pointless, because you need them early. the DHSKs are 2CP which adds no real support to you when you need them in the early stages of the game.
So, Im literally pretty stuffed in the sense I either get stomped in 15 min, or i surrender by 6 min because we cannot gain any ground back.
has anyone got any tips on how to counter the death blobs? Should i be utilizing mortars more, or should i just turtle? Any help would be great.
Not just another OKW Rage rant....

Just get 2-3 penals early on the field.. and if the enemy literally blobs hard, well then you move your penals in a blob too

I'm still using the good old cons to fight against okw, triple cons in to a mortar usually allows you to keep enough ground to get to mid game without any major issues, adding 2 guards to the mix with maxims and at guns supporting should do the trick.
