HMG teams no longer function efficiently while pinned.

Thanks Relic. Made my day.

Also: 1 frame delay between unit orders? Is that a mistake in the notes or something? Delay feels like 2 seconds, not a frame

I'm just guessing here but the whole delay problem might be caused by validating each player's orders with the other players. If one of the players is running on low frames (but not low enough to trigger the performance message), then this might cause the delay. Remember that validations would also be slowed down by network lag if my assumptions are correct, so all these factors would stack up.

Thanks! that kinda explains it!

don't understand the t70 buff, otherwise fine. Ostwind was a beast if the enemy didn't have AT

edit: glad MGs can't operate when pinned. that was lame!

This is going to really screw late game by a lot. The SU85 was already crazy good, and now one of the few viable counters (PIV) is less accurate...

I`m not really sure what Relic was trying to accomplish with that change, but it seems to have only made the SU85 more powerful.

The rest of the changes are great though.

I`m interested in seeing how the Brummbar will work now, since it`s accuracy is massively improved. Is it just going to snipe infantry with arty? Or what?

They should have left Pz IV the same and just made IS-2 and T-34 actually useful.

Panzer 4 accuracy vs tanks should remain roughly the same, scatter mainly affects anti-infantry.

The T-70 change is largely negligible. In some scenarios it actually can make it worse. Having too low of a scatter makes it harder to hit moving targets for example. Namely retreating targets.

Strafe DPS went from +150 to roughly 30. It also strafes 3 times rather than 5.

But they also buffed the Stug which should now hopefully be useful against the SU85.

Making a medium tank the main predator of a tank destroyer is stupid. The PIV SHOULD be scared of the SU-85.

Ah, good to hear. Thought scatter was like 'spread' in FPS games.

It isn't the right way to nerf p4.
p4 is a all-rounded unit which should be scared of heavy tanks and tank destroyers.
I was expecting a main gun damage reduction to p4 rather than accuracy reduction to infantry.
Now p4 is just another version of panther.

It had been stated by devs before that the P4 was meant to be a AT tank with decent AI capabilites, as the T 34 is an AI tank with decent AT.

Imo this was a god change it was melting infantry pretty easily before

Brummbar already is a good unit, just no one uses it because the P4 is better. This will probably let it be seen more against heavier infantry play styles.

I've been using it a fair bit though and a heavy T1,T2 to T4 Ostheer against a T1/T2 - T4 Russian can be brutal. T3 still got to be so careful against because of what a T70 can do to your whole army if you get caught out of position once and it takes longer to get that light AT vehicle longer.

Very happy with this patch, not everything I'd like to see was included but as some have said; it would likely do more harm than good to have too long a change-list.

strafe seems will no be a area denial tool with weak area denial potential :/ seems overnerfed
kinda like the opel changes to the resource rates - now its a 300 ( thats kinda pricy for a no hp unit that everyone is keen to hunt down ) double op cache
other changes look pretty good besides the buff/nerf to t34 and p4

T34 /85 Dont forget, and considering you only ever have those when your are winning easily i doubt it will change anything in 1v1s

nice to see that the StuG finally has its size reduced as intended. The proem i see is it wont help against the su85 i fear. though the accurcy against the stug has been vastly reduced i guess the SU85 will still hit it like always thanks to its low scatter values. so i think stug wont any better vs SU85.

i am also missing a buff for the at-guns both pak 40 and zis-3.

but all in all really good changes. all decent improvements and no overreactions. I like.

regards
