Your account has been suspended for 388 hours. The reason given was You have received a two week ban from multiplayer due to use of Swastikas and the glorification of Hitler on Steam along with harassment and toxic behavior towards others in-game. Any further violations will result in a permanent ban on your account.

that is what relic sent him also. yes people have been perma banned for maphacking at the end of last year. we dont know the exact number though.:snfPeter:

lol in many countries use of Swastikas and glorification of Hitler is not a crime or a valid reason to get banned

I'm sure that somewhere on that long piece of text no one reads whenever they install Steam or CoH2 there's something which allows them to ban you for even less.
It's not about been a crime or not, just don't be an asshole.

In Deutschland as I understand, it is illegal for video games to have a swastika to represent the Axis powers, so instead they use the iron cross.
It is currently banned in Germany.

Why are people still complaining about something that happened 70 years ago??

This. How many people actually read the full EULA on each software? And read it again when there's updates to the software?

Coming from someone who works for a regulatory agency in government, that's pretty much how enforcement of law is usually handled.

Assholes get punished. Good faith efforts to not be an asshole saves many a wrongdoer from the full degree of repercussions.

Just pointing it out, you can openly be a Nazi outside Europe, even in USA (freedom of speech protects you), and it's not a crime.

Being an asshole though is another thing.
