i dont to need this...because i have done this just few minutes ago.
Result: almost (only usf m1 gun bounces 2-3) alli at gun pentrate tiger front to 90% (1 shot bounce)

look to my replays ...and proof me other.

Okeeeyyyy.... Here we go:

Close range penetration / Long range penetration more or less
USF:
57mm AT gun - 50%/43%
M10 - 60%/46%
Jackson - 80%/66%
Pershing - 86%/73%
UKF:
6 pounder - 70%/63%
Comet - 70%/56%
Firefly - 86%/70%
SU:
ZiS - 66%/60%
T34/85 - 53%/40%
SU85 - 80%/73%
IS2 - 83%/70%
ISU152 - 86%/66%

Only 3 numebrs are close to 90% and even tho, it's unlikely to fight with Firefly or ISU152 at clos range

Australian: Allies almost always outnunbers Axis units. So, that numbers occurs way more times and has more chances to pen Tigers and other tanks.

He´s only referring to the aim. I´m referring to the performance in general. The dps is piss poor. Add to that that every gimmick is free on the Comet, the Comet clearly outperforms it in every regard.

Without mentioning that Panther is only dedicated to AT, and it is very bad in that.

Then I guess its good that comet costs MORE, is less durable and doesn't have as good penetration, while teching for it locks another unit and abilities?

Also, if you want to see piss poor DPS, look at firefly.

Point your finger on the things that were too hard to understand and I'll explain them in more simple way.

You don't even play vs actual players, you've said it yourself that you play exclusively vs ai, what are you exactly doing here?

Don't think pgrens need a 5th man. At vet 3 they are extremely durable and effective.

always remember range and rate of fire after all panther and stug have always less range

cost more (10 more) less durable (30 less front armor 20-30 more rear armor) less pen (190 pen but fire faster ) and yea is locking tank and ability right right ? I think tiger should be stock too and chose between panther and tiger + ton of ability right ?

The first major problem is the insane potency of light vehicles which force Axis off the map, making them invest in AT early on before Allies and potentially losing squads early on. The second major problem is clumping which results in cheesy wipes from tanks and from mortars. T-70/Quad Half Track/Stuart/AA Half track obviously just need a damage nerf. Easy.

Then the other issue is clumping, which I think can very easily fixed by setting a maximum models damaged per shot at 2 (like mines) for tanks and 3 for indirect fire (with exceptions) Tanks can have their scatter reduced to compensate, in order to give medium tanks more consistency which they currently lack. That's just a general quality of life consistency change which will benefit Wehrmacht the most. I'm working on a mod where I've done this,and it's working brilliantly. Double equipping Bars and Brens should also be removed in exchange for a vet 5 nerf to OKW infantry to keep all infantry scalings balanced.

Giving Ostheer 5 man squads is going to completely break the balance vs Conscripts which is already pretty lackluster, and it'll still leave OStheer vulnerable to cheesy clump wipes.

Making Tiger stock unit would be huge nerf. Just sayin...
