Is too fucking quick, there is nothing more frustrating than being in the perfect position to counter sniping, the sniper fires, reveals himself yet, oh, whats this , my sniper is aiming, aiming, AIMING, and cloaked..

Quite simply, fuck off.

It's only this quick in heavy cover - but if you are fast enough on the click and have your sniper facing the direction, I believe its possible to get a counter snipe off even if the sniper is in heavy cover.

That being said, it is tough to do.

Honestly stealth should imo work completely differently.

If a unit that can cloak is being engaged by another squad e.g An infantry squad is actively shooting at a sniper, it shouldn't be able to cloak until it is out of LOS range of said squad. The same goes for all cloaking units.

It makes sense logically, as it currently stands all factions (bar USF?) have access to alien camo technology or the MiB mind eraser tech. "I know exactly where the sniper is, he is right there god damn it!"

Too many times I played againt player who used snipers badly but still couldn't counter-snipe.

For example, Kholodny:

North spawn, enemy is keeping sniper behind fence next to the building and sniping my squad in the church.

I keep my sniper behind broken wood beneath middle VP.

He shoots at the church, I immediately click to shoot him down by my sniper and.... cloaked.

I kept squad inside the church to bait him again, I was 100% ready, insta click to shoot and... cloaked :foreveralone:

It's only this quick in heavy cover

Type of cover makes no difference for cloak speed, and you will always have instant cloaking upon entering cover if you are only firing after your unit leaves camo.

Really? I could've sworn that re-cloak speed was quicker under heavy cover than under light cover as a "feature" they introduced when they released this game.

Lol. +1.

I don't have issues with countersniping atm as i am only playing usf.

However i do agree that cloaking in the game is poorly implemented.

Cloaked units moving along roads or cloaked rekketons blocking a point being capped is bs.

Stormtroopers are another glitchy poorly implimented gimick unit. On occasion i have been chasing this unit with rifles watching them phase in and out.

Ha, I think I had that horror once, doesn't it even completely remove the ability to use abilities such as Tulip rockets against them or even attack ground when they are cloaked?

That shit's fixed...Right?
