I like it and hope they add more content. It would be cool if they could expand the points system at the end of matches to offer bonuses for points leader, most kills, etc.

There's supply and points to next drop. You get 1500/2000 POINTS per game and at 6000 POINTS you get a drop.
90 wins guarantees you a commander (if you have most items and not counting for double/triple drops)

You mean 9 wins, right?
Commander costs 15.000
9 Wins are 2000 x 9 = 18.000

Or am i wrong here?

Yes, you're wrong.

The points you see at the end of game have nothing to do with anything, except to be a counter to the next drop you get. The drop will be either a new item, or 500 supply if you get a duplicate.

So as long as you don't get lucky with the lottery of the random drops, it will indeed take 15000/500 * 3 = 90 wins to get a single commander.

No you have the same mental deficiency as me. As Elchino pointed out to me playing a game gives you POINTS not SUPPLY

6000 POINTS earns you a drop - if you have the thing dropped already it automatically converts the drop to 500 SUPPLY

Commanders cost 15,000 supply so 30 drops (assuming no drops are new things you don't have). If you win every game it takes 3 games per drop (3 x 2000 points = 6000 points required for drop)

3 x 30 = 90 games

If you don't win so much it will take longer as a loss only gives 1500 points so 4 losses = 1 drop
