Other than having no snipers,
Sturmpio - Better MP44 pios with shrecks!
Volks - 5 men Gren with Mp44 upgrade
MG - Stock MG34 with MG42 call in option
Mortar - ISG, longer range, better cancer busting
PG - Obers/Fusiliers/Falls...take your pick
Raketen - Pak with Cloak that can retreat and garrison
Light vehicles:
Luch, Puma, Flak HT vs 222, take your pick.
Stuka - better, earlier than peewerfer
Staying power:
Medic, Forward Retreat, Repair HQ, Flak HQ vs bunker, take your pick.
Tanks:
Pz IV - better armored Pz IV
Panther - better vet
JP IV - completely outrange and outclass StuG
JT - better range elefant
KT - better tiger
Scope:
Who the hell needs Ostheer scope when you have Infrared HT!!
It's a completely safe & cheap maphack option that can even detect camo units!
TLDR: Better infantry, better vet, better tanks, better staying power & utility, better recon options

You can draw parallels like this between every faction since every faction has units that more or less fill the same roles.
yes, except OKW completely outshines Ostheer in every way.
At least Brits got better sniper, tanks, ATG
USF got better blobs
Soviet got better call in stuff and bombs

Well if AFTER the preview mod OKW is OH on steroids, then what was it before the nerfs?
At least they didn't have MG, didn't have snare and that's something you can exploit as USF

Pios - cheaper Sturms with flamethrower upgrade
Grens - Volks with longer range grenade and better long range firepower with MG upgrade
MG - doesn't need tech to unlock
Mortar - ISG but better because available earlier and can retreat
PG - double schreck OMG
Pak - Raketen with longer range, better penetration, stun ability
222 - available earlier than any OKW light vehicle, clearly way better
e.t.c....
You can make anything seem better than anything that way. It doesn't represent what actually happens in the game

MG - Stock MG34 with MG42 call in option (so the ost does have the advantage here)
Mortar - ISG, longer range, better cancer busting ( the only leigh do better is emplacement busting . ost mortar is superior for the rest)
PG - Obers/Fusiliers/Falls...take your pick (pg's are cheaper then obers or falls and dont cost ammo to be effective)
Raketen - Pak with Cloak that can retreat and garrison (FFS dude)
Light vehicles:
Luch, Puma, Flak HT vs 222, take your pick. ( i take the 222 . when it comes to anti lv the 222 is a awesome cost effective unit.)
Stuka - better, earlier than peewerfer (very needed considering the lack of decent non fuel arty)
Staying power:
Medic, Forward Retreat, Repair HQ, Flak HQ vs bunker, take your pick. ( no love the ost track?)
Tanks:
Pz IV - better armored Pz IV ( expensive )
Panther - better vet (expensive)
JP IV - completely outrange and outclass StuG ( Much more expensive stug is the better buy)
JT - better range elefant ( expensive also doesn't get stun locked the elephant doctrine that matters come with scopes)
KT - better tiger ( nope speed is better for heavies)
For the record the OKW has the better powerhouse units and raw stats on their side. The ostheer is generally cheaper and more mobile.

This is a stupid way to make a comparison. If you'd actually played much of the Preview Mod, you'd know these factions are very different. To demonstrate just how stupid this comparison is, I will do the same thing but in reverse.

I'm happy to trade SU sniper with Brit sniper, 2-man seems more like a liability than advantage.

Yeah, I only ever go T1 for the counter snipes against heer anyways. That, and girl soviet snipers are my waifu .

Where's the second soviet army? ("guards army" or sth)
Where's all the PPsHs?
They could re-do so many iconic soviet things in creative ways, like... idk, a sniper team (=iconic for soviets) that works like a weapon team, so with facing and setup. Also, many vehilces are left, the russians were in the war a long time, there's abunch of stuff!!
But they're probablly working on that other game with space nazis... what's it called again, oh yeah: "dawn of space marines-yet-again and no fouking imperial guard!!".

, the only fun soviet army in COH history was the eastern front mod............
and yeah, no imperial guard in the next release of space nazi, this time, the next IG we need to wait at least 3 years more.....
