When did it happen:

* Damage profile reduced from 1 / 0.5 / 0.3 to 1 /0.4 / 0.15



That is a %100 nerf, we just assume the mid distance nerf was needed but the long distance damage reduction is over the top. It is almost useless again, compared to the kat, Callie and the 40-Fuel land matteres, so you need to get 2 to have the wiping potential of those mentioned counter parts.


Mind you Ostheer has no long range indirect fire and the GrW34 is ded thanks to Pack and Land mattress or the pit.

Change the far distance damage to 20 or 25 and mid distance to 4.25 or 4.5

I think they want it to be used at mostly medium range, where the nerf was much smaller.

It's the AOE damage dealt at the medium distance from the target, and not related to the unit's range scatter.

I bet you would complain about OP Katyushas if they were like current Panzerwerfers. Panzerwerfer is fine. It causes heavy bleed against infantry but doesn't alwys wipe them instantly anymore.

Guess how Brits and USF played against blobs before they got their DOCTRINAL rocket artillery.

Well the fact that my opponent just hears the noise and just move a few tiny steps backs and save all models means it is far from fine.


You can't do the same shit while hearing a kat/LM/Calli firing.

Oh. Then i see no reason to complain, based on my experience, the panzerwerfer is fine at it is. Keep in mind that it also deals suppression.

2xMG42s or bunkers cover that mechanism.


It should wipe blobs or support walls just like Callie/LM/Kat do. And it is to fragile to get close in order to reduce scatter (which won't help that much against a wider area of interest anyway, the damage profile is broken again)

I'm sure you had a lot of success building bunkers and using a pair of MG42 against weapon team heavy builds in late game, sitting on VPs.

Well, it didn't need to, because it always wiped them and destroyed the weapon at the first strike with old damage profile :snfBarton:

Good thing is it can't do that anymore as it deals %20/%100 less damage. Neither stats are desirable, I propose something in between.

And out of curiosity, what do you think of katiusha lethality or calliope?
would it be OK for you if pwerfer was as effective as one of these?

Yes, but bringing it to the same value requires a *1 multiplication.


Katy's damage is average, but at least it punishes stubborn noobs who refuse to move while the PW just pins them down lol, or get a few models at the center of it's radius. Both units need greater wiping potential.
