Actually i have to agree with porygon.. ive had like 3 games, where my opponent knew exactly where my snipers where. He artied them, even tho they were hidden in the corner with "hold fire". i lost 2 more snipers later on to Arty again ( katyusha ), without the enemy knowing the whereabouts of the snipers. It felt very weird and im concerned that maphacking is back in business.
Other cheesy moves wherent so obvious, but quite strange aswell.. I really hope this isnt the case and it's me being paranoid !

I like it so I hope they improve it, WTF. What should I do instead? Praising Relic making codes that cracked by hackers?

Relic haven't do much about maphack drophack back in vCOH & drophack in DOW2,
I was so stupid to pay for a CE, there will be drophack & maphack in the game,
I'm just trying to fool myself that they will do something about that.....

First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think

That's what you get for using the crap P2P connections from COH1.
That was pretty much the only thing that made me want COH2 - before I got to play it that is - but the thought of NO MORE MAP HACKERS.
But seeing as they just used the same connection system as COH1 - yet left ALL the good parts of COH1 behind - it was only a matter of time.
I'm really sad to read that it has been maphacked though.
If I'm going to be maphacked - may as well be playing a game I enjoy (COH1) vs a game I just tollerate (COH2).

it is a never ending coding war. and it is a war Relic will eventually lose to the endless hoards of....

I hope for the day that all data will be server side and that should solve hacking issues.

in all games no matter how much secuirty you have they can and will be hacked.

as much i hate to say it i don't like relying on a company to provide me with the only way to play there game. ive bought/rented quite a few games that advertise multiplayer discovering the company has stopped supporting it and multiplayer is offline. and there is no way to play mutliplayer. (some were multplayer only.) i think for this and few other reasons i prefer the p2p system though it is less secure and easier for hackers/cheaters/whatever.
the more you look for hackers the more youll find them (even if there are no hackers to be found.)
