I like the bounce in his step. Maks the SM seem a bit more upbeat than usual. Maybe he is giddy to be in combat again. But yeah, he totally looks like Arthas from WC3. Nostalgic .... just not in a good way.

Pre Alpha Video Impressions:

- Looks like a 'MOBA' 'RTS/RTT' to me. (Gabriel Angelos moving like a 'MOBA' HERO, etc)
- The thing that looks like 'cover' is silly. ( calling it cover system also )
- Gabriel Angelos isn't voiced by Paul Dobson (jump to time 5:48)

0 Would be nice to have Sync kills but if the time is spent elswhere to make the game better i could accept it

0 Compared to DOW1/DOW2 prefer those instead of this art style. ( but yes gameplay > graphics )
0 'Base building' ( Video haven't shown enough )
0 Those battles look same as DOW2 size, 'BIGGER Battles' should be bigger.

+ Liked the Imperial Knight. :thumb:
+ Looks like 'Morale' is back.(when the eldar squad gets jumped on):banana:SQUAD BROKEN
_____________________________________________________________________

Its caled Pre-Alpha... missing a lots of things(example: features) so actually not much to talk about.

tl;dr:

It's nice to see Dawn of War 3 happening:), will it be good?
Will see that when it gets released.

The territory system keeps it different enough from SC imo, plus abilities could be tied to muni or power in MP, we don't know.

Damn, I didn't think I would dislike a game made by Relic as I like their more strategic approach to game play. But that game play looks so uninteresting, looks like a starcraft spammy arcade match or a mobile clash of clans put in 40K universe. Hopefully my opinion will change when I actually get to play it.

I'm going to cross my fingers on this game. At the moment, I think the third installment might be going downhill from the original and its successor.
However, as a fan of Warhammer 40k, I'l watch from the sidelines to see what else it got in store.

Why the hell they call series of cut out videos without any interface which tell nothing about how game will be played "gameplay" videos, lol?

Looks fucking trash. hype: -2/10

For all of COH2's shortfalls at least the prerelease marketing got me stoked.

Had the same concerns as the guy in the video.
After listening to this video the future looks brighter!
:)

(Pre-Alpha) Not much else to talk about until it gets released. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For the Emperor!

Pretty big let down for me :(

The fights look really messy and confusing.
I really dislike the environment shown in the gameplays aswell. Looks like its only wide masses of land you cant interact with.

Lets see what the future brings.

They have confidence in Relic to do well for the RTS genre? Clearly must not be real Relic fans :D

I'm going to also state I greatly miss the weight, grit and organic environments as well and will currently assume this isn't going to be my thing in the meantime. Perhaps I may be convinced later.
