I play the game from very beginning and through the whole time number of players playing custom game was marginal. Especially if you compare it to coh1 custom game community or number of people who play comp stomps. Here everybody uses automatch, no matter if its 1v1 or other game mode. Unless they are fighting in tourney ofcourse.
So its not the game that is infested with anime, its one game mode that nobody plays. Most people here wont even know what you are talking about at first.
Why all the anime in this game?

If you're really an open-minded person as you say you are, how about just ignoring them? I've turned off custom decals and skins and stuff from my options as well as un-realistic skins, why can't you as well? I've noticed anime stuff on the workshop but not in game, even if I did it still wouldn't make much of a difference for me.
