Yea exactly what Fanatic says. If that was Cossacks 1 remastered I would totaly dig but there has to be some improvements to be made If you are trying for third game in 2016. Its not about graphics but details and using technology. It was looking great at first but this, battle show didnt create any hype for me what so ever.

I doubt they have enough resources to make it proper game. Anyway, knowing optimization and amount of bugs STALKER had on launch i rather wait a year after release before considering playing it. Wish them luck tho, first game was great.

They claimed that hardware from 2008 should be able to pull C3 on reasonable level.

I'll be interested to see how it works, but I won't be an early adopter. C1 had some good ideas, but frankly that whole 'classic' RTS thing is utterly tiresome IMO, and I would prefer it were updated. As such I'm going to be rather more interested in the UI and control scheme than just prettyfied units.
We're actually experiencing a kind of burst of games in this usually neglected period, such as Pike & Shot and Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun. But this is the only one in full RTS style and 3D graphics.

It needs more time.
-When you press "P" you can open a window that gives you the entire catalog of units and you can spawn them on the map instantly, campaign or skirmish.
-Multiplayer isn't there.Tried and utterly broken! UI glitches can't even close the open spots. If by chance you get to play the connection is...
-Can't change the hotkeys.
-Map editor tool: horrible.
-Graphically It looks fine. Audio sometimes good. Effects are meh.
-Core gameplay is Cossacks:BTW which is ok but they didn't paid too much attention to improve the formations.
-When you give a formed squad an order they first break their line, go to the desired place in disorder, when they reached their destination they formed again. Which I think is an insult to that era.
-Trees or stones, Cavalry can pass though very easy because there are no unit collision.
-I have seen few waypoint issues as well with the wood&stone collecting villagers, who couldn't decide which tree to collect from.
-Shif-Clicking orders: still not improved.

The game is amazing but for now I would advice to say away becasue of bugs.
Devs completly resigned from beta, therefore ATM game is playable but... You know... Maybe in a month or two they will get rid of bugs.

they removed madmin tools
fixed some bugs
but it's still so bad i won't buy it, they promised so much improvements but did nothing. I am an fan of the first hour and was checking their facebook page etc. 20 times a day but this makes me just sad...

There was already one patch fixing many bugs.
Keep in mind that GSC is small studio and it's their first game after many years.
Have a faith and think how bad CoH2 was 3 years ago or after releasing OKW or just after Brits etc etc
Also keep in mind that they are going to release as a DLC another 8 factions for... Free

If people want strategies with thousands of units then why Supreme Commander Forged Alliance has such a small community right now? I mean I know the sequel was bad and its almost as old as coh1 but it's still the best large scale rts and it receives community patches once in a while.

Becasue some may prefer historical game with swords, pikes etc
