Riegel Mine doesn't have same damage as Teller Mine

I thought, both had same high damage (one shoted Sluggers) and thats why damage of both were reduced to same value and price. Now I have to admit, if Teller one hit Stuart, Riegel somehow does not (stayed about ~1/5 HP). Workin as intended or it's bug?

It's intended (which can be annoying). Riegals deal 320 damage but always immobilize.

There once was a bug that tanks could drive over the mines but the following explosion did no damage what so ever - has this bug been solved?

No, it still exists. I don't think it happens when they drive over them though. It seems to be that the trigger radius can be bigger than the AOE, so nearby vehicles can make them go off without getting hurt.

M20 mine has the same bug too.

It still exists but it is mainly a teller bug. Havent seen it happening to riegel.

Riegel always did less damage.
Instead it has 100% to immobilize.

Are you sure its 100% immobilize? There is a number 70% somewhere inside my head.

Not really, I had a phase of using storm doctrine as counter to last edition of call in meta and 10 minute shermans. Riegel + possibility of stuka bomb were great as flank counters. The ht could flame and reinforce at the same time. And double mg42 in cloak were unflankable if well positioned. Did wonders, especially on crossing in 1v1. Then patches came Kappa

M20 mine has the same bug too.

can someone confirm this?

It would explain a lot. I was trying out a strategy of laying M20 mines everywhere then attacking the immobilized tanks with priests. A KT drove over one and just kept going, needless to say the shit hit the fan pretty quickly after that XD

riegel does 320 damage
M20 does 400
teller does 400 (if it hits when it goes off...)

So less damage is not a bug...

(I can't check critical chances atm but as far as I remember the M20 and riegel have about the same chances to do heavy engine damage and immobilize. If I remember correctly immobile is not 100% some sort of engine damage is...)

Riegel is a great mine, but little seen, I think, because the half-track is not popular any more.

My friends and I don't play competitively, so I like using them as mobile reinforcement as I hate to wait for infantry units moving to the front line all the way from the base. With the guarantee of immobilization it can be a real game changer if crucial vehicles trigger them.

I only use Reigels in the doctrine with spotting scopes and Elefants. But lately I've been using the Elefant doctrine with the Command P4 because of obvious reasons.

I love reigels, much like I love USF's M20 mines. They can just be hard to use because they are hard to keep them out of battle long enough to get into position. They also take forever to lay.

The prob is that Riegel is totally nullified by USF Super glue :( ( except the damage )
