I would look at other games you like and see how those video cards perform at those.

The most imporatant is CPU.

I want buy graphics card for Coh2. I choose 2 cards R9 280X and GTX 960 4gb OC. Which will be better?
I have the 960 GTX 4gb and I run Coh2 pretty smooth once I disabled AA in game and told nvidia to do it for me. I get around 40-60 FPS when settings are maxed. It's been pretty smooth since the AA change.
I also am running with 16GB of DDR3 ram and a i5 3750k @3.6 ghz. I run Coh2 on a 500GB Samsung SSD
In 1v1 it's a steady 60fps, but other game modes it jumps around when a lot of artillery hits. Like Artillery Cover.

I wont buy FX6300 and 8gb RAM. This CPU is good for CoH?
Nope. You need high single-thread performance, which AMD basically doesn't offer at all at the moment.
Intels i5 is still the way to go, if you're on a budget, and depending on your other components, then i3 or Pentium G might be an alternative.

And before someone comes up with bla bla, i can play every game like Witcher 3, Farcry 4, BF 4, GTA V and so on on maximum grafic + a high fps rate.

980 ti Gfx
16 gb ram
500 samsung ssd
z97 asus motherboard
i5 - 4690 CPU
And my pc have problems handling coh2 in 4 vs 4 , when there is a lot of arty falling down from the sky.....

Cyanara wrote a fancy guide about COH2 performance:

and dont buy any hardware just for coh2...

got hardware that not even exists when coh was release and i am still forced to play on mid if i want to play mostly lagfree. Paid 2.000 bucks so i would recommend you a buget of at least 3.000 + euro don't forget a quad channel mainbord and run everything on SSD's.

What does the quad channel have to do with it? If he just goes for really strong double core processor, minimalist OC motherboard, 16GB of cheap dual channel ram, good enough gpu like gtx960, small ssd just for system and coh2 and hdd for all the rest he can get same performance in coh2 for a fraction of what you had to pay for your hardware.

i wouldnt get an i3 or pentium at all. as soon as you have something running in the background, you are missing a lot of your cpu power. additionally, with directx 12 and vulcan cpus will scale much better with corenumber.

Me neither, but if you're on a budget it's the better choice.
Certainly better than buying a 4 year old CPU which was insufficient back then, and still is. With a 1150/1 i3 he will at least have an upgrade path, and decent performance right now. DX12 won't change that.
My point being: FX6300 is a waste of money nowadays, either way.

therefore if the OP has the money to upgrade from an i3 sooner or later, he shouldnt get a i3 in the beginning

If you overclock it sufficiently it will run most games just fine and wont limit a r9 380x. additionally buying a 2 core cpu is a waste aswell.

Overclocking comes with further costs and problems attached. The 6300 isn't a real hexacore either btw.
This whole "moar cores, moar ghz" is nice for marketing, but doesn't matter if the actual raw performance is completely sub par.
If he would have the money to heavily upgrade sooner or later, then buying the FX 6300 is even the worst decision he can make. The i3 will get the job done for now, while keeping an upgrade path open - that's the point.

well, the "raw performance" of the fx 6300 is comparable to an i3 6100 while being about 20% cheaper. if you overclock the fx 6300, it becomes an even better option. additionally directx 12 might eliminate the need to upgrade
the fact that he considers a fx 6300 means his budget is really low. while i agree that a ddr4 plattform with an h170 board would give the option to upgrade to an i5 6600, it costs more. therefore he would probably cut the budget of the GPU which is never a good choice today, as pretty much all games run into GPU limits (besides COH 2, which doesnt run at all )
but this discussion is senseless without knowing what the OP currently has (maybe some ddr3 sticks) and what his budget is

This might have the computing power to run CoH2 at a steady 60 FPS with AA off

overclocking the fx 6300 will cost you more electricity, but that is negligible. problems should not occur.

Overclocking "costs" you in terms of mainboard and cooling - people seem to forget about that quite often.
While the FX is a decent CPU overall, it's outdated and severely lacks single-threaded performance - which he needs for a lot of games on the market right now, including COH2. While at the same time there's no upgrade path with the AM3 socket, nor decent performance to begin with.
"Costs more" is a matter of calculation. Buy cheap, buy twice.
Personally i really can't recommend AMD CPUs for any gaming system right now. Zen might change that again, and GPUs are certainly a good alternative.
Anyways, half the topic is our argueing anyways. Truth is somewhere in the middle, i guess we can agree on that.

but it runs. coh2 is memory and CPU dependent. this computer has 8 GB of RAM but only 32-bit windows, so only 3.2 GB is actually available to run coh2 (hence the crashes). video cards matter little.
