only some scrubs will recieve it, so you can be sure it will be ruined and released to us in a bad shape like always. I'am also excited how new cancer commanders will ruin our fun tomorrow, i expect nice phosphorous-landmattress fun, just imagine to cover the whole landcape for just 50 mun with white phosphorous! -Relic :lolol:

Relic sends you a maple syrup encrusted letter written with Canadian grammar by Ryan Reynolds telling you the access code and the download files. And some Tim Hortons. :snfPeter:

It's somehow funny.
In my opinion, Relic doesn't do this Alpha thing because they want the game to be balanced and new features to work correctly.
It's simply about getting new players. Because of this reason they do not pick qualified people for testing, but select their testers randomly, which is absolutely devastating, but new or 'retired' players may come because of this opportunity.

With all due respect, but this alpha is not about balance and new features as you say. It's about a new warspoil system for which they maybe need random players to have the best result.. Why would Helpinghans or Jesulin be more qualified for that?

Just sayin.

Because they know the major issues about the current war spoils system.
New players maybe don't even know the problem with duplicates and war spoils for factions you don't own and the 1000 spoils limit and so on...

If relic was to ever make a patch with the top players... a dream. They did that in vCoH tho and it turned out great.

New players - agreed, they should be 'ruled out'.
But apart from that, everyone knows it's a bad system so everyone should be included.

Btw, I'm sure people like Stormless and others who stand closer to Relic, are allowed in the Alpha ;)

You don't have to be a top player to know the war spoils system is utterly stupid. This isn't a patch that solves game problems like balance.
