Yeah its worse and it costs more... also try it when they are moving, JU-87 is still accurate as fuck while rockets go fucking all over the place.

Notice on JU screens how small is area with burned ground around and compare to the holes after rockets. It looks awesome on Churchill's screen. Holes after rockets are like "3 Churchills" further.

I'd like to see how the Typhoon Strafe compares to these two.

I can understand, why ju-87 are so bugged, better and why this thing have so accuracy when tanks move.

JU87 is fine now that it no longer targets infantry (not taking into account the bug where it stays for 3 minutes, that still needs to be fixed). The P47 needs am accuracy buff. It can't even properly hit stationary vehicles. I've seen whole volleys landing left and right of a stationary P4, not dealing any damage

P-47 needs smaller distance between rockets so they don't land left and right next to target.

By the way, during tests, JU-87s once have stayed in the air for 20sec longer than ability lasts.

That for proving my obsrvations P47s are able to kill the heaviest only if you hit them and snare. The result is guarateed wipe. Nowdays need vision thou.

ANd it is absolutly uslees vs med or light targets.

Topic starter would you be so kind to put here results of the next tests:

P47s
Vs P4
vs jpz4
vs pz2
vs Stuka
vs halftrack 251
vs Pzwerfer

Well, I can guess for now, that all of them will survive due to small target size, so rockets won't hit them at all :foreveralone:

People would cry is P-47s killed anything. Don't forget that they dont hit anything on the move or medium or light vehicles due to the small target size.

Yes, the bug where the JUs stay around a long long time also needs to be fixed!

Wow! Nice thread.

I knew that the JU-87 was near-godlike, but I never expected it to be THAT good.

I also knew that P-47 was trash, but not THAT bad. I usually attributed that to tank movement and/or the omnipresent OKW flak defences. Now I know I'm never using that ability again.

I'd like to see how the Typhoon Strafe compares to these two.

(off-topic)
What's the best AA unit that Soviets have to shut down skillplanes? (the Soviet AA half-truck does garden-all)
(for USF I found the m20 to be the best AA unit)

JU87 is fine, P47 sucks.

And how do we confirm that those pictures are not from a custom mod?

Didn't P-47s have their accuracy nerfed like 9 months ago because they were apparently overperforming?

I remember times when Airborne Company was default pick for USF when Captain tier wasn't as good as it is now and it also had a solid late game anti-tank option with the P-47 loiter. Back then it was really useful against heavy tanks, less so against mediums because their speed allowed them to dodge rockets and quickly leave the target area.

Now, every time I see it, it does garbage damage.

Tested it earlier. Seems even less powerful than P47. Out of 4 times, it only brought a KT below 50% one. Usually missed a lot with the rockets.

It does wreck infantry though. So I think it's okay.
