Is it intented that the Soviet radio abbility shows the exact placement of enemy mines, as shown in the screen show below?

If you use tac map its even more obvious.

Wait, really?

Man, were players who placed mines that uncommon?...helped by the Radio Intercept commanders being infrequently used.

Actually, they have whined about it to the point there no one was using radio intercept doctrines any longer. Plus, it was patched not to show mine placement.

The problem why those commanders arent used is not in radio intercept

I know, I'm just surprised I've never seen this "feature"/bug being mentioned before in spite of your statement it's always been like this.

So if I understand this right, it once showed mine location - relic patched it so it wont show mine location - and now its broken again and shows mine location?

Most commanders with Radio Intercept are trading something for it. (Elite infantry call ins, heavy mortar, AT gun camo etc)

I think it's fine that it shows mine location. You still have to remember where it was. If you're distracted by fighting etc you might miss it.

It shouldn't show the placement of mines or bunkers.
Thats far to powerfull to know.
Guess relic reverted to a previous version on this one and no one noticed it since radio intercept were out of meta.

Now i know why such commanders are being used again.

that it was able to reveal mines as well but then they make it not to reveal just mines location (i dont know about bunker, but all games that I play with that vs. Ost, i never once heard about bunker/medic bunker on base CMIIW).

OP are you sure this happens as well in normal mod, as in automatch or custom games with normal automatch mod, instead of just debug/cheat mod?

Yes i'm 100% sure this is also possible in automatch, I just used cheatcommands to make a fast screenshot.
