I appreciate the sturmtiger is quite expensive for OKW. It's not the easiest tank to micro/aim either.

Still, I don't think it should have the power to decimate both infanty and heavy tanks (look at the youtube vid!).

Btw, I had a game recently where a sturmtiger landed an epic shot that did serious damage to both my comet and cromwell.

Appreciate the stat In the video you can see the pershing is on 75% HP. Still, isn't that amount of damage excessive?

Perhaps, I think they wanted it to be able to one shot mediums.

It does indeed one-shot mediums. And heavily damaged 'heavies'.

And decimates inf lobs.

But tbh, it is slow - and 7-8 times out of 10 I can get out of harms way...

I've said it back in the day in the AVRE thread, I'll say it here:

If its not full hp, then its not one shot.

Also, why people believe pershing is durable?
Its NOT heavy tank, its glorified medium.

Against Sturmtiger it have pretty much exact survivability as EZ8 or T34/85.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

kind of off topic, but 230fuel for a 800HP tank with limited one to the field is very lackluster......and even so the pershing is locking behind a lackluster doctrine with an army only consists of paper-skin tanks......

First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think
