Gren 42 and G43 combo
Once upon a time ago Grens could be equip with both LMG42s and G43s.
However this combo was known to be broken. However I believe this was pre-weapon profiles (Making the LMG best at long range instead of all ranges) and giving G43s a better close and mid advantage over the LMG.
However in recent times we've had the release of Brits and USF both of which can get double upgrades on their mainline infantry whenever it M1919/Bars/Brens/VickersK or Zooks/Piat.
and due to (in my opinion) USF powercreep, vet 3 Rifles with double weapon upgrades crap on all Ost infantry
Perhaps bring back G43/LMG42 combo on greens? it was taken away pre-weapon profiles.
and not always taken as a balancing idea but spending 105 muni on a squad is a decent amount.
Opinions?

I'm not sure how it would be now. Maybe G43s would be reverted to their original long range role and 60 muni? If i have the muni I would spend it on extra upgrades for my grens, for sure.

It would be weird to have a medium range and a long range weapon upgrade on one squad...although it makes them useful at all ranges (and even within 5m, LMG42 is still a buff to dps when compared to k98, I think). It used to be borderline OP (especially when using Jaeger Infantry Doctrine/ambush camo).

Well consider you can get both G43s and STG44s on stormtroopers and PGs, considering they only buff long range while nerfing short to mid.
Also if implemented in the current state, it would help deal with USF rifles and maybe help with duel bren IS (to me they can be a bit of an issue to grens)
And as said by Siuking in a post below
It does make sense considering it's a munition sink for yourself
E.G losing a squad and buff combat performance at the cost of muni.

Double snipers vs USFs
Effective, but 720 manpower for a specialist unit that can be counted easily by an M20 and above.
Although there is a muni sink into this, but consider that grens will be your main line infantry

This is one of the main problems I have with weapon racks and how they affect brits and USF, all their squads become the same.
I do not think that lmg42 grens need any buff, if g43s need a buff then that is fine but they shouldn't get paired with lmg42s.

Back then this would be 2 g43 and LMG with a total of 3 weapons and this was over kill
Also making g43 upgrade 60 ammo for total of upgrading both 120. as US and UK are this.

I would rather limit the lmg on allied troops insteads. The Para and guards are fine due to price and performance. (for clarification, I don't counter the bar as lmg)

- Grenadiers will turn into weapon pinatas the moment they drop to 3 models or below (kiss your lmg42 goodbye)
- What's worse, sometimes grenadiers will prefer using their g43's over their lmgs
- What's EVEN worse is that you will not be able to predict that behaviour; the performance of your grenadiers is going to be completely inconsistent the moment they drop to 2 models.
It all boils down to the fact that there are no weapon preference profiles in the game.

This wouldnt be a bad idea as long as when you upgrade both you get 1 LMG and 1 G43 with total of 2 "upgraded" weapons as USF and UKF only can carry 2 weapon slots.

You can't drop g43s though, they are not the same kind of weapon upgrade. The same reason you get 4 ppshs on conscripts and can still pick up weapon slot weapons.

but you will drop the lmg42. It's basically the same deal as the vet3 tommies with bren.

So by your logic the PPSH upgrade on cons should only be 2 weapons? instead of 4,
