So you really are going to purchase this? Lmao GL to you.

Lets look at USA Commander:

LMGS - Infantry company
Recon run - Mechanized, Major
M5 - Vanilla soviets :foreveralone:
P47 - Probably Ardennes Assault
Sherman Calliope - WOW NEW UNIT OMG. Seen in Coh1 and demanded by many forum users. Now USA Finally gets rocket arty, it´s DLC :foreveralone::foreveralone:

OKW
Goliath - WOW NEW UNIT OMG Seen in Coh1 and demanded by many forum users. Now OKW Finally gets demo charges, it´s DLC :foreveralone::foreveralone:
Forward Receivers - Probably similar to Kubel detection and 222 infantry awareness
Early warning - British arty company
For the fatherland - Probably received accutary buff in friendly territory, seen in Coh1 :foreveralone::foreveralone:
Sector assault - Dont know

So people are willing to pay 10 dollars from this kind of small DLCs? :hansREKT::hansGG:

As long as the game makes money, we get support..
You dont want new content nor support?

''DLC mess'' was discontinued right after the rifle commander release.

Should we make a u-turn and stop selling commanders again?

No, because people were still bitching and people will never stop bitching.

If you dont want to buy it, dont..

It is impossible to please everyone.

:megusta: ? Really.... You realize games are made for PROFIT right? They are running a business. If they are not making money they would stop making games. I do agree it makes it really messy for new players.

Well, the ranks on the game mode I play are not hidden :snfBarton:

@Jewdo
People will always bitch and I'd rather have new content and bitching people then no content and bitching people.

2 years since release and Relic still hasn't fixed existing commanders and optimization problems. Instead we got this cash-grabbing DLC. With this rate COH2 will have more micro-transactions item than F2P game. I mean at least EA give us Season Pass, with this current trend we might as well have EA 2.0

Honestly guys do you know how business works? If the game stops generating revenue then all support stops, no more patches/changes, no more commanders and the servers will eventually go offline.

This game is well and truly beyond its hay day (as in, sales of the game itself will be relatively slow since its 3 years after release) and needs to continue to generate money for relic to justify continuing to support it, or its lights out.

So if you don't want to support the game, or don't like the new content, just don't buy it.

Do we?

What about map improvement? What about all the other features we miss untill today? Where is the ingame ladder? Where is the up to date lobby?

Best example is the Performance optimisation. Demanded since the game was released, promised several times by Relic and now Kyle says there wont be any further improvement because he admits that the essence engine is giant cluster fuck. :hansGG:

You can say this about gameplay neutral content like a new singleplayer campaign. It doesn´t work with multiplayer DLCs though since the give an advantage to the player buying it. If you don´t want it don´t buy it doesn´t protected me from someone using this commander against me. And we talk about commanders like sowjet windustry or the rifle company here.

I am totaly fine if Sega wants to make money with CoH2. But they should reconsider their business model. Take World of Warships as an example, you can buy Premium to get more cash and more xp but this doesn´t hurt other players, you can buy new ships but since the are (more or less) balanced this doesn´t hurt any other player as well. Plus WoWs is pretty well balanced and Wargaming is still improving the balance with regular patches and new content. Relic does lag behind such a business modell.

What about map improvement?

Are you really going to ignore all the map and rotation changes we had in the past?
Kholodny and Langerskaya alone got a lot of changes in the past and these aren't the only maps that got updates.

Dudes, it's really time to get the fuck over it.
DLC is something of our time, it's something that's happening for every game. Skins, new commanders, new swords or whatever. It brings new life into games and makes sure the game is kept fresh.

They used to bring DLC in via expansions and then no one complained. Now they bring it in in terms of more regular DLC, which is apparently very very difficult to understand for some of you.

Why not be happy that they actually bring in new content? Why not be happy that they keep the game fresh by adding new units the community itself asked for? Hetzer, Calliope, Rangers, hell even the Pershing is in the game now.

Pay2win is not ok, I'm down with that, but DLC itself is perfectly fine.

Because it is something of our time, that doesn't mean that it is right and justified. This is a total rip off.

90% of the new commanders are P2W.

Supporting the game with DLC? Yeh, instead of making like 100.000.000 $ lats make it 500.000.000

By supporting the game i have something else in my mind. Optimization, balance, Ladders in game, bug fixing, War spoils fixing, ESL tourney?!?!?! and i could go on.

They sell as a bed time story about supporting them and the game will improve but i don't see it really. Do you?
The only thing i see is new OP commanders (for all factions the best commanders are the DLC ones, except maybe for SU, or am i wrong here?).

And yes, i also am not against DLC (skins, facplates, decals or what ever) but not for DLC "OP Commanders" that practically force to you to buy them, very very sneaky and cheeky way to do that, don't you think?

For sure, they are not stupid, they want to make money as much as the can (milking us by tricking us) but the way they do it is like they think WE are the stupid ones.

And Kreatiir, no disrespect, please can you tell us again why you left the game for a very long time?
Really, no disrespect here :)

Not all DLC is P2W. That's not a valic argument.
As I said, I'm also against P2W.
