Your cpu should be good enough, the worst part of your rig is ram - low frequency, long latency, for some games 8gb may not be enough.
In case of black screen in games I would start from checking if you have newest nvidia drivers installed

For coh1 you dont need more ram. There must be something broken. Check connections between stuff on motherboard, do stress test, things like this. Its not a performance issue but it still may be hardware issue.

Do you think using an autohotkey script to sync the game into full screen mode could cause this problem to crash and black screen? Because that's what i use. When it goes black I still hear sound.

that should not eb the problem. is your ram really just 666 or is it actually 1666? because if it is 666, its FREAKIN slow. 1600 is baerly enough for ddr3, 2400 is used in good rigs

I'm sure that's not a RAM problem either. I would check north bridge temp, and if voltages are stable under stress.

His ram is 1333. Because its Double Data Rate it shows as 666 / 667 but its really 1333. Ram speed barely makes any difference these days for gaming and wouldn't cause the the problems he is having. His CPU is more than fine as well.
I would suggest to update all your drivers (if you can). Doesn't seem like there is many updates for your motherboard but I would atleast download the audio driver from here http://download.msi.com/dvr_exe/realtek_hd_audio.zip
Also go to the Intel site and download the auto update utility. http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24345/a08/Intel%20Driver%20Update%20Utility%20Installer.exe. Run it and see if there are any updates.
Can download the latest Nvidia driver here http://uk.download.nvidia.com/Windows/359.00/359.00-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe
How long have you been on Windows 10?
If none of the above solves the problem, it might be worth looking into CPU / GPU temps during gaming. Dying light is a very intensive game and could potentially cause this but I wouldn't expect COH1 to do that.
Let me know if you still have issues, I will find some more things to try.

You need more RAM. When I upgraded my RAM my performance went up dramatically. CoH2 takes up 8 gigs of RAM just by itself. Its not enough.

Hes playing Coh1 for a start. Also I never break 10GB ram usage with coh2 running and I usually have 3 - 4 GB @ idle. I don't remember dying light using all that much RAM either. If it was a RAM issue games would turn into a stutterfest as its having to use the page file. Very unlikely to cause black screens.
