Addressed an issue where game would crash to desktop when clicking 'Multiplayer' button in menu
Addressed an issue causing 'Ghost Games' to appear in the lobby
Fixed an issue where an error message would be displayed indefinitely when attempting to join a full chat channel
Addressed an issue where the "Connecting" phase of automatch would lock out the Stop and Main Menu buttons causing the player to be unable to cancel the action

This was Sooo annoying, i think i got 3 matches that I didn't want because of this, always had to alt F4 to stop the automatch.

When you say it begins, do you mean there will be further patches?
We plan on doing more. However as with before we can't give timelines on it at this point.

They had been promising to return much of the old server functionality. And they got a lot of flack for thinking the trust system was working, but that they asked about the trust system in the first place means one can hope that it will be implemented.

I am no expert but I think that the trust system should handle much of the drop and lag hacks. I don't know enough about sync and lobby hacks so I can't comment on possible ways to fix.
I think maphacking is with us forever since this is a P2P multiplayer system. Good explanation here of the differences here: http://devmaster.net/posts/16869/networking-p2p-vs-server-based-online-multiplayer-games
As I understand it each computer is being sent the other players position but the game doesn't show it. But if it is known on your end someone can code a way to reveal it. I am sure that a game can be coded to make this hard but I doubt that lvel of effort will be put into something as old as COH1.
Added: That said, a maphacker can only play so much better than their level. It is still then a matter of micro and strategy and a hacker is likely to use that as a crutch that will impeded their ability to learn those two skills.
