Veteran Status on Troops

Been trying to find information on Veteran Status and I asked around and seemed to be getting different answers. Can someone please solve this for me.

Veteran 1 = ???

Veteran 2 = ???

Veteran 3 = ???

In game, mouse over the stars under the unit picture. It is on the left hand side, and will show you all vet info.

Vet one almost always unlocks an activated ability like sprinting, a special barrage or awareness.

Vet two is usually durability and or/accuracy.

Vet three is usually increased damage and/or more durability.

They will throw in rate of fire and movement speed increases on some units for 2 and 3 I think as well.

So after playing a game and hovering over the stars you are correct "what doth life?!" But for Vet 2 and 3 "Durability", what does it really stand for? HP? ARMOR?, for accuracy how much more accurate are they? 25%? 50%? likewise with increased damage.

Yeah well Relic wants people to have to visit the CoH 2 stats site instead of putting that info in the UI where it might help someone. The UI needs to be reserved for that massive chunk of absolutely nothing in the bottom center of the screen.

That CoH2 Site doesn't load anything for me when I click on Soviet and German Unit Stats.

I totally agree with the massive chunk of useless info at the bottom of the screen. I feel like showing more stats would really help new players.

I also suggest when clicking on enemy units at that bottom center to highlight a few units that counter that unit. Maybe a small thumbnail of the unit in your arsenal that can help take down the unit that is killing your guys. I don't think this breaks the game because yes it's helping the player learn counters but just knowing what units counters another isn't enough to win you the game. Positioning and so many other factors come into play which is why I think this should be implemented and the benefits of guiding new players is worth it. Opinions?

Yeah the site was taken down. The programmer was bought out by another company.

I think there will be a new one up sometime soon hopefully.

Yup, site's gone.

Anyways, for Soviets the stat buffs are usually offensive, and for Germans they're defensive. iirc Vet 3 is 72% buff to either armour/damage for German/Soviet respectively.
