Buff DOT flames

All vehicle flame weapons DOT have been overnerfed beyond recognition. Flame Hetzer, KV8, WASP, etc are very much useless vs a competent player.Its a classic Relic overnerf.

DOT means damage over time, so the interval on which it does damage should be lowered. Now you can stand in flame it resembles a hot bath.

What do you guys think?

I don't know maybe a small buff, but I don't really want to see the return of kv8/crocs with at gun wall soloing whole armies

I agree, however these changes need to be very slight. They changed the reduced the frequency of flame damage. . "Damage frequency reduced from 0.5 to 1.25
Dot radius increased from 3 to 5"

Maybe adjusting its frequency to 0.7 would have been a better change

croc and UC are still ok at least. they don't insta wipe but you don't want to be in them either.

UC is utter crap. It dies so fast to mortar / mg / sturm pio / faust / mine / at gun / just about anything. I used it last night in a 2v2 where I got it to vet 3, but I had to go in, burst one volley, keep engi around corner, repair, rinse & repeat. Mortar shell almost killed it. It was against mg / mortar spam. I thought the UC would work really well, but no. 2 mg's also almost killed it when it 1st popped. Maybe if I use it more or differently, but it sucked as what I was trying to use it for.

Takes it half health in shot. Dies to just about anything, there is not just in investing in one if it cannot even reliably counter mg mortar spam in a 2v2.

If Relic decides to buff flames, plz increase Fighting Position and Brit Emplacements' resistance to flames cuz currently they are barely able to survive flame nades and flame mortar.

Wow, and I was thinking the DOTs should get a little nerf. Croc and KV8 still insta wiping everything.

Decrease the interval on which the fire does damage and decrease the damage value.

I.E: (I don't know actual values but) if now it deals 20 damage each 2 second, it should be fair to change it to 10 damage every 1 second.
With that it will be fair to infantry units while keeping the same damage for Buildings.

I think generally it is very difficult to balance flame damage. Relic has tried at least 4 time. DOT could use a little buff and damage should stay at 10.

Dots are fine, Company of Flames was stupid - they have now a designated role: to deny cover. Not killing complete armies on retreat.
