Heavy Cav Commander?

How are you supposed to play with this commander? Smokes keep your MG's moving around while the rifleman horde with rangers run through and kill everything. Then the deal is sealed with a heavy armored Pershing. These Pershings roll through volks, ATG, like nothing. Paired with a jackson, how do you kill these thing when the late game is supposed to be a comeback?

Flak halftrack works well at stalling the infantry. You can attack ground through smoke.

An early luchs would also be pretty strong against this sort of composition.

This commander has nothing to counter a pak43 emplacement.
Also no super glue vehicle crew to fix engine damage from mines.


Use AI vehicles to deal with rangers or go dual Obers.

Forget Luftwaffe tree vs USF and go Breakthrough/Fortifications instead. MG's are for the most part pretty useless vs decent players, Falshirms are paper and the Luftwaffe tree IMO is very underwhelming.

You could experiment with Mechanized opening to help control the infantry or play conservatively until Panzerfusiliers / Recon squads give you a bit more meat to your infantry.

Yup.

Double up LEIGS gentlemen.

They're still pretty good, just hotkey them and choose your targets/LOS.

Stunlock pershing with pak and finish it with faust + stug + pak.

And add oswind to hunt and kill that infantry. After pershing down USA wont recover easily

oh sorry does not read OKW strategies , i dont even thought somebody now play worst axis faction.

So i reccomend breaktrought with multiple panzerfussielies and medictruck into jp4 and later maybe Jagttiger , it will serely hardcounter any allied tank with jp4 while leigt and panzerfuss with G43 will surely win agains USA infantry if the yre behind cover vetted or outnumber opponent 2 vs 1

On paper it makes sense but ingame you just get rekt like a poor chicken :(

The Commander has the best thing against it. Smoke.
Now try to ground attack that pershing while the whole rifle blob is moving towards your position and the pershing is just wrecking your infantry/bunkers/mg34.

I mean, other than an offmap smoke barrage that will prevent it from targeting anything. (Forcing you to attack ground through the smoke to actually hit anything.)

Pak43? Comon! It gets smoked and your done.
I find that a well supported jp4 with wreck the crap out of that pershing. Ostwind and mgs supporting go a long way too.
