Its apsurd, players have started building pak emplacments behind buildings to protect them as they can shoot through every building.

Fix asap please.

This is an intended feature, not a bug.

Just how new are you to the game?

If they take the PaK43's ability to shoot through obstacles, it will be absolutely crap. It's already a hard to use unit that lacks the range it has had in earlier stages of the game (70 now, 100 before) and can be simply countered by a lot of 1 click abilities.
I would say the PaK43 is currently oooookay... or rather a bit UP IMO.

Can the 17pdr do the same too? And let it not be a timed vet 1 ability that costs muni.

QF17 cost 400 MP and 75 FU got brace, and can be garrisoned to be more effective

PAK cost 600 MP, no brace, no garrison

Axis don't always have the "best stuff"

Dude, stop with these semi-sarcastic smart-ass looking posts. Despite its flaws (Whole emplacements are UP), 17pdr has a very important feature, its crew can not die, and also its arc.

With the abundance of indirect fire and 1-click doomsday abilities, countering a PaK43 is not that hard. PaK43 is fine.

Currently cool allied stuff:
Churchill Crocodile, Centaur, Air Superiority, Flamer Rifles, Pak Howie

Past cool allied stuff:
Commandos, Partisans, ISU-152, Old and new KV-8, 120mm mortar, old Guards, old SU-85, Katjusha, Vickers in Buildings, P47 strafe, Bofors, Flak M5, Field HQ rush

Currently cool axis stuff:
Tiger Ace, LeIG, Ost Sniper, Tank Smoke

Past cool axis stuff:
Close Air Support, StuG E, Stug G, Flame 251 (some weeks after CoH2 release), Elite Troops Doctrine, Königskübel, Blitzkrieg Ability

Explanation:
Cool = OP

So you see every faction has and had its OP stuff (and as a good German I'm convinced that OST and OKW had much less OP stuff over the time :snfPeter: ).
But still the PaK43 is everything but OP.
It doesn't change the fact that the Brit Pounder Emplacement sucks ass. But only because the one faction has a sucky emplacement doesn't mean that the other one has to suck that bad too.

remove the ability and it's useless. It can be countered to soo many stuff. It's not like the 17 pounder that can't be recrewed.

Like all static emplacements. There are too many easy counters to them.

this isn't about unit sucking or not, it's about shooting through buildings, which is utterly ridiculous. Also german panzerfaust ability shoots through buildings if the opponent activates it on my vehicle before it drives around the corner. I repeat, utterly ridiculous.

You know that garrison bonus of 17 pounder is the ability to use flare, right? Hardly "more effective" with that.

Being able to shoot through buildings is the only thing the PaK43 has going for it. Even then, neither I nor any high skilled players I watch ever build it since there are soooo many units and abilities that wipe kill it or decrew it. Unit is fine. Feature intended.
