My vote: Team Carotene. Reasons, I'd say generally these players use "more reliable" strats.
Please do not take any offence, e.g. Von Ivan goes for some crazy strats sometimes and POP is known for really aggressive pushes.

Is the no show match played BEFORE or AFTER Barton eats the soap? It really might effect on end result.

Those who vote for allied strongest in 4v4 cannot have played much 4v4...
I don't wanna derail or go off-topic. But at this skill level, I think allies are more powerful. These guys have the micro skill and co-ordination. (Don't wanna start an argument, just sating my opinion)

Its a really close match up when expert players face each other. I would say allies have an edge.
With the new brits and their superstrong off maps. And stuff like Soviet mark target, USF having no popcap (still working as intended ) is REALLY strong (10 740hp Easy8's? Kappa). Axis will need to have a clear gameplan vs this.

should the allies use and abuse the vicker bug. Axis won't stand a chance late game.

Top tier arranged 4v4 teams would probably be in favor of allies and

As far as i know the late game isnt that bad for axis, if the super heavies like JT/Ele are out its even match. The problem is mid game because of churchills and stuff where axis got no answer with p4s at the time.

I watched the game yesterday.
No doubt these guys have top-drawer skills, but many of them are 1v1 players most of all.
They did not really use the gearing that is usually the deciding factor in 4v4 games past the ~15 minute mark. They mostly played 4 1v1 games with lots of infantry skirmishes all the way.
The destructive power of the gearing on the axis side is unmatched. Brits might change that eventually, but I haven't seen that happen yet.

That's a good point.

Yep, quite definately, I think Ami and myself pointed that out in several situations. VonIvan and Siberian have so many 2v2 AT games under belt, same goes for HelpingHans. In game 2 you could really see Sib and Hans pushing Jesulin away with combined arms. Whilst there's no doubt that all players are tremendously skilled in 1v1's, I think the synergy was the deciding factor ^^
