The British AI is terrible.

British player in 2v2 dropped and the AI played awfull the infantry was sitting AFK in the base and dancing most time.

I never seen AI staying afk at the base with the old armies.

I also spoted in other games the British AI build snipers but often not retire or escape with them and they die fast.

The best part is at 0:31, "There is a rather splendid Cromwell ready to go", 7 seconds later, "Armored vehicle gone".

Sometimes the British AI spends almost all of its population on emplacements. Usually it's Bofors emplacements; lots and lots of Bofors emplacements. After making a whole bunch - and maybe a 17 pounder too - it has almost no population left for mobile units and ends up being mostly static for the rest of the match.
