I've been super critical of Relic, especially near the beginning of this summer, with how stale the meta and game felt. However, at the same time, I believe in acknowledging progress, regardless of how late it is.

So, this is a appreciation thread for:

1. In-game advertisements of twitch streams and OCF.

2. More involvement in the forums than before (regarding the patch notes).

3. A balance patch mod that actively changes based on feedback, as well as patches that feel much more responsive to problems that the community identified.

Things aren't perfect, and progress has been slow, but there has been progress and I think it should be acknowledged.

Relic has been great these past few months.

Seeing the OCF in-game advertisement is a good example of their new willingness to work closely with the community. Let's hope things keep improving!

+1, the road is long and full of, err, roadblocks? but Relic came a long way regarding their community interaction. Don't take this as an excuse to stop improving. Never stop improving.

Whenever i read the forums it's tons of people complaining and arguing and being frustrated and annoyed about COH2 and relic and plenty of other things... It's nice to see the opposite sometimes ^^

Also really happy how things seem to change for better. Seeing them interact with the community more and getting patches out faster ist really great. Keep it up, there is still lots to do

Agreed, I think relic has taken a turn for the better here. I am not going to lie, for a time I seriously contemplated not buy any more relic made games. That time has past and I am glade to say relic is back to being a game company i am willing to buy games from.

The increased communication is really appreciated, especially now with the new faction balance issues.

Players are reassured (which leads to less frustration) that Jlee and BB are aware of the problems and working on fixing them.

And too all the unnamed dev's working in the background too.

Better than how they were in June 2013 but still could do A LOT better.

They have gone from an F grade to C- in two years.
