I am wondering if the range buff to the tiger also applies to the tiger ace. After looking on coh2 stats both tigers have the same base range so I would assume this buff is true for both. Can anyone confirm?

It will, as the Tiger and Tiger Ace both use the exact same file for their main gun.
So the Tiger Ace will now have 56.25 (45+25%) range instead of 50 (40+25%).

Lets PRAY they havent lost it,and they keep the vet 2 bonus low enough that the range increase stays at 50.
Or they split up the gun files and leave the ace out of this buff(which I assumed they would do since they didnt mention ace in the notes??????????????????? RELICCCC)... Its already easy for a tiger ace to reach out and slap tank destroyers with 50 range...at 55....what could actually counter the tiger ace besides a bunch of mines and a demo in one spot to one shot it?
Im ok with a normal vet 3 tiger getting these buffs,but the ace needs some serious nerfs otherwise.
Luckily this is just a preview mod,maybe if we cry loudly enough they wont go through with this.

Why does the brit AA tank penetrate p4s and panthers. why relic. who thought this was OK??
For the same reason incendiary rounds HMG42 penetrates T34.
Why are the brit flames firing across the damn map??? who said yea that looks good??
Because they are not supposed to be faust fooder(UC) and are 12 cp AI specialist(croc).
Also, check on preview the range of flame 251.

Love the changes. I really really REALLY enjoy how you guys are willing to work with the community. You guy are genius.
I would add in buffs/changes to units that are seldom used due to their under-performance. Please at least take a look at them:
- Soviet Defensive Doctrine
- Ostheer Defensive Doctrine
I just really want to see these units in the game, it would really make it more interesting.
Good pick. I would also like to see that doctrine work. I guess everybody gave up on it and even stopped talking about it.
Dude it's just 5 more range, this is just so it can kite a little to deal with the fact the level of AT on the field has ramped up significantly. The Tiger I is not hard to kill by any stretch of the imagination.

Four nerfs. Four. And they're all by pretty huge margins. Do you think it might be a little better to nerf it, you know, incrementally to see what works instead of going all out on the Bofors like this?
I'm starting to think these changes are for the same possible reason the ML-20 first got nerfed to the ground:
that is the whole point of this mod preview to help us make revisions and try the ch anges before it actually gets patched into the live game. It gives more refinement to the process and all members of the community are involved.
So it might not be the end of it.

Tiger Ace with 55 range and even more penetration is the last thing I want to see in this game.
bofors and brace structure changes are great, Sherman with increased armor was a better version of P4 with cheaper price, so not including the armor buffs in new mod version is good imo.
