Brit AA emplacement vs buildings

I think there may be a problem with this AA emplacement vs units in buildings? The gun seems to wipe them very quickly - in one or two bursts. I suspect it's doing too much damage in these situations.

anyone else seen this?

I have noticed the same was happening with the Centaur.

This is because the Centaur is supposed to rek everything smaller than heavy tanks in a few bursts. Working as intended.

I don't think so. It's a bit over the top right now.

Not sure about centaur, but bofors insta-kills any garrisoned infantry with the first shell similar to OKW puma aimed shot, working as intended I guess.

It costs about the same as an Ostwind, so it should be of comparable performance. Currently it's far superior to the Ostwind.

Just like grens are superior to cons for the cost.
Or Lefh to ML-20.

This is quite long list.

Ostwind have much better mobility and as you've seen on balance mod, Centaur is getting changes.

I'm not 100% sure of the mechanics of Aimed Shot, but it does seem it's unlocked through veterancy. It probably also has a cost of some kind.

Whereas the bofors gets insta-kills as baseline. Still seems imba.

My point is you always find a way to indirectly bitch and moan about cons or how cons are inferior to grens.
Just focus on the topic at hand.

Oh and give the sacasm a rest. It got pathetic 2years ago.

I wonder why I'm using this example hmm..
OH I know!
Because grens are superior to cons despite costing exactly the same?

You're completely missing the point.
Same cost doesn't warrant mirrored stats and performance.

Look at snipers, look at AT guns, mortars, katy/werfer.

You are the one suffering heavy tunnelvision, focusing on this single case when HALF OF THE UNITS IN GAME can be examples here, I gave the one that everyone can see most easily and you're going apeshit crazy over it.

Buildings as a whole are very weird this patch. I don't know if they are supposed to be concrete bunkers but they are so strong now.

Relic really went all in on this flame hard counter thing.

Let's also not forget that the Bofors is immobile, unlike the Ostwind. It needs some kind of advantage over it. That being said, I probably shouldn't damage buildings heavily if that is indeed true (Haven't got to witness this myself yet).

Relic was making changes to garrisons to make them more durable and changes to how AoE works.

No wonder something wonky came out of it.

If Relic works on something, it will usually come out wonky :foreveralone:

Well, the building doesn't take much damage from the bofors. But anything inside the building dies in 1 or 2 bursts.

Sorry, my "Iam sarcastic, and this thing killed my P4, so I make a sarcastic post"-sign was a little to tiny.

The point is: Back in Alpha I already said, this thing needs a penetration and armor nerf and Relic didn't give damn. So I have to guess, it is working as intended, kappa.
