Brace takes the ability to use the building away, if you do the math you'll notice that the brace buildings use popcap.
So your army has more units in theory then the already low unit count Brits, which you can use to your advantage when brace is active.
If you have skill, you can use brace to your advantage, why the hell do you want to destroy a building if it's stops working the moment it you force it to brace.
I mean, l2to time a push.

I think im actually ok with Brace, but Pak43 & OKW flack emplacements should get it toothats actually i good idea, both are heafty invesments and they get destroyed to easily

Edit: Just remembered the cooldown timer starts when you use brace not when it expires. So currently brace has a 100% uptime and after the balance mod it will effectively have a 1 minute cooldown. It doesn't change the argument though: there needs to be a large enough period of vulnerability after brace expires for the aggressor to counterattack.

I don't think it would make any difference to a human body, if it gets hit by a 20mm, or a 40mm round . . .

I feel like this discussion should more go into the direction of OKW trucks getting something similar.
Right now, the trucks cant withstand any concerted push in a 2v2. The british offmap bombardment of the commando-commander alone destroys full health trucks in one strike.
As long braced, the OKW-trucks also would loose all their functionality (no healing, no repairs, no flak).

in my opinion having brace where it is now is a good thing considering that axis before the brits released had all of the good stuff to themselves. i say they cant have it all its time the allies have something to level the playing field

Look man, I know you've only played this game like 2 times and only as USF, but OkW and Wehrmacht are not invincible. Nothing they have is blatantly OP. Do you think Relic makes the Axis ''''''OP'''''''' on purpose or something? How about just nerfing units that overperform, units that are OP? And also just because the Axis factions work better in 3v3/4v4 games doesn't mean you need to give the Allied factions OP shit to win. Like for example, a bofors can wipe an entire squad that is in a building in 2 seconds. Does that seem like fun to you? Or that explosions do nothing to structures that are braced? That isn't fun.
