Been playing a lot lately, loving the new patch!

I post this in the gameplay section because I don't think its gamebreaking, I just dont know how to counter it. If I had a decent PC I would post replays, but I disabled the function to have some decent fps on this piece of crap :D

Anyway, my question is how you can counter a wall of SU76, Maxims and mortars? Most of the times the maxims and the mortars are no problem, but the :hansRNG: barrage wipes squad of me all the time. I tried stalling for a LeFH, it makes a good comeback. But mostly its too late in the game.

Does anyone have tips how to counter this? :) I mostly play 2v2 now.

I've found that JP4 can be effective against su-76 if you support them with a good squad with large sight radius.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

StuG and PaK combo as Ost. It can't barrage and shoot the StuG at the same time.

Thanks for the tips! JP4 is a good counter indeed.

Should try the schrecks out, but I spend much ammo on tellers. Schrecks sound like a better idea :p

I tried getting a stug and pak combo earlier, but when they have too much SU's (like 4) they just barrage the AT gun away, and later the Stug.

If SU has 4 SU76 then you should have a panther which can pick em one by one and gg

I had a Panther, I managed to kill one of them. Yesterday I had 2 SU76's and they could barely penetrate the Ostwind, so I was pretty suprised the Panther went down that fast.

You do realize that SU-76 minimum penetration is about 70 greater then ostwind armor?
It can't barely penetrate Ostwind, it will penetrate it with each shot.

Using Pak's to counter SU-76's is hit or miss (literally) best counter Iv found is Puma's. But then again is the best counter to literally everything in the meta right now so....

Frontal to? Well, maybe it penetrated, but didn't do much damage :p

Barrage is inconsistent crap (actually, it consistently miss) and is really effective only at minimal range.

That's because Wehrmacht doesn't have any high tier light vehicles except the doctrinal Puma and doctrinal StuG-E. Who knew the Panzer III Relic cut before release would actually be so useful in the future :p

If you use it on targets you have sight of it's a lot more accurate. But what more do you want for a free barrage?

A panther against 4 SU76. Good joke mate. The panther will be dead before he can even pick one of the 4 SU76s off.

The SU-76 barrage is literally a ZiS gun barrage with more scatter, I think it's fine the way it is. We don't need the SU-76 to be anymore powerful than it already is.
