Just experienced that it is easier to crush infantry with allied than with axis tanks... Dont ask me why.
T34, Sherman, M10 probably the best tanks to crush inf
Because they are weaker, they tend to be faster. Past the trait of being able to crush infantry, speed is a vital consideration to doing so as the vehicle needs to move fast enough while turning to manage to hit into the infantry them as they play their animation for dodging to the side to avoid being crushed while the vehicle approaches. The faster it moves, the easier it is to crush infantry because then it barely has to turn into infantry dodging to run them over.
Well, I suppose rotation would matter too, but I'll admit I can't really notice any difference in that factor among the fast vehicles.
I'll say its more about acceleration than top speed. Also against Allies, you have to actually crush more models in comparison. That's why it looks harder.
Also technically, I'm pretty sure basically every unit varies in acceleration and speed in about the same manner. As in, if one unit is faster than another unit, they'll probably also differ in acceleration to a similar degree.
So even if the actual trait defining crushing in practice for vehicles isn't speed, regarding a difference in crushing effectiveness between vehicles can still probably be superficially determined by their max speed.
