New usf meta strategies

So, after I lost 3 1v1 games in a row versus OKW, I feel like lieutenant open is not working and 120 fuel major is delaying fast Sherman pretty well. So any new advises?

Stuarts are good. They hard counter 251 flak and luchs openings. You can skip the Stuart and grab an AT gun then rush a Sherman if they open puma.

Just have to micro your Stuart well. Capt in general is amazing this patch imo

Haven't played much USF this patch, but from what I have, captain tier and Airborne is pretty sweet. The Stuart comes fast enough to give you some good map control unless they rush a puma, in which case, stuart and captain can play cat & mouse.

The Pack Howie will deal with blobs, combine it with a squad or two of Pathfinders with bars for extra sight & they do a number on inf. Screen with your rifles and tech. If they are really blobbing, the 50 cal does some serious work now.

Have played against solely USF players in 1v1 as OKW. They all go riflespam with Infantry company, get a vet squad right away, go stuart, get zooks and spam like there is no tomorrow.

Unless OKW blobs himself, with shrecks, he can't stop you.

You need L2P, its just 3 games, i remember i have -9 losestrick in industry time and i think the problem was in hands Kappa.

LT rush is no longer meta.

Captain tier is much more flexible as it provides actual AT, the AA halftrack only being situational a soft counter. Stu arts hit the field super fast and put immense pressure on OKW especially. Pak howitzer is also much cheaper and is an amazing wiping and suppression platform.

Riflemen f**k volksgrenadiers and M1919A6 paratroopers f**k LMG34 obers/fallschirmagers/panzerfusiliers. they do not f**k totally though, but indeed f**k.

Try going LT -> CPT -> MJR

Works fairly well. It gives you access to all of your support weapons, and M2HB is great vs. OKW infantry. If you don't want to tech to major afterwards, you can grab armor company for callins.

I'm kinda thinking about changing my play too. I used to go 4 riflemen, lt, capt.
But now I wanna try
3 riflemen,
BAR/zook + 4th riflemen (2 BARs)
Capt
Stuart
pak howi
major
sherman

I further get 2 or 3 double BAR riflemen + 2 double zooks.

But of course it depends upon the opponent's play what exactly will roll.

I've tended to adopt a more passive hit n run approach combined with allot of flanking and capping trying to win the recourse wars. I've found them very good in 2v2s however I don't really play that many 1v1s so I couldn't help you there.

3 Riflemen -> LT -> M20 Works reliably only vs OKW without MG34. And Luchs is now even more dangerous, because mayor more expensive now. 5 rifles to 1919 spam or flamer spam and captain works fine.

I tried elite doctrine, 4 riflemen (4th is vetted riflemen), the 4th picks up 2 bars, then Capt -> either stuart or howitzer. It got me some wins until now...After the patch i got 8 wins, 1 loss..Dunno if that prolongs..

That sounds like a LOT of infantry, have you tried using the pak howitzer? I had lots of issues vs blobs playing as OKW until I learned to correctly use the infantry support gun (i.e. not like a mortar, needs direct line of fire). It provides AOE suppression + dmg and is quite precise when not firing indirectly, helped a lot.

The MP bleed should let you field vehicles + infantry while your opponent cannot reinforce + pay MP for tanks.
