21st patch Howie's + 2 click counters. What to do?

Stuka can come more earlier than howitzer, so you can reach vet 3 faster that howitzer hit the ground. Also, priest need vet 1 for his ability and it is difficult to counter ost howitzer on their base too.


The Stuka isn't the easiest thing in the world to vet up even after the changes. But mostly it just decrews weapons and at vet 3 unless your on a small map it won't hit the enemy's base.

B4 is long dead. It's just an RnG canon, even without 2 click counters it's pretty useless.

It's actually still quite good on small maps. It's just that literally everyone uses CAS so it's instantly countered.

I will never not adore the KV1 :)

Meh, it's not even that good on small maps. It's too much of an investment, when you might not even hit a thing all game.

The B4 is pretty RNG dependant but can be truly devastating if it actually hits.

640 damage = 1hits all mediums and smaller vehicles.

No it's not. The ML20 has far too much range, to expect a stuka zu fuss to take it out, against any reasonable opponent.

Also, I'm not seeing any solutions here so far...


There are none. Someone thought that ML-20's weren't being built because they were underpowered. They weren't, it just that everyone has CAS and the ultra-efficient two-click counter to ML-20's. The old ML-20's were okay (don't know about the OST ones). Unless the gun can survive a stuka strike, they won't be built. And now that the ML-20 is batshit OP, I'll load out CAS in every team game. If the strafe's aren't working (which they shouldn't), at least I'll have massive minefields, unlimited rifle grenades, and no ML-20'S.

Giving the ML-20 a slow crawl speed or making the gun survive a dive bomb would have worked.

Make howitzers cost fuel, like vcoh 105mm. They are now worth of fuel.

Before you needed to get to vet 1 to use the precision strike. On smaller maps if you make it outside your base it can be absolutely devastating because you can 1 shot blobs. It gets reduced scatter at Vet 3 which allows it to hit just about as effectively as it did before (accurately that is).

Don't forgot about For Mother Russia which buffs all your infantry support weapons included. It's excellent for smashing OKW blobs with shock troops or making your cons move across the battlefield at warp speed with Ooorah!

flank it as they say about mgs. Axis defensive play also has no counters except indirect fire. Arta should be in game and should be able to punish this noob style of play of sitting there behind schwerHQ or mgs firing arounf with leigs or mortars and getting tank deathball.

I like maxim buff, I like new price of red germs T3 - 360\130. They wont be able to skip T2 building. Bad axis Players wont be winning vs decent allied players in near future.
But still in a very begining they will have significant advantage. But if they try to abbuse their opening advantage without adapting to oponent tech - they would just lose to t70. Thats fairplay.

KV1's also walk all over PIV's, in the coming patch I think Counterattack Tactics will find a nice spot.

Me too, so I apologise. Indeed the LefH should be brought inline with the ML20 then... Or vice versa.


They are creating asimetrical ballance. Germs mortar > sovs mortar and they decided its OK. And gave sovs other advantages.
OKW will have some problems in the opening with maxim buff.

Soviet howi fires the same amounts of shells as German howi at vet1 despite being even dealing more damage and a reliable wiping machine. OOkay sounds legit

People dont use counter barrage to much it seems. The lefh can make any use of arty a very risky proposition at vet 1.
