It's almost like people think all units should have penalty for building while under fire.

No just cons :snfPeter:

just asking as a noob.....but, why flanking is not an option? you don´t even need smoke as you may need while flanking a machinegun....more than than, no other sandbag will protect the flanked sandbag as it will happen when flanking a machinegun with other one covering the flanked one...

Yes Cons sandbags are annoying as hell but they really need them to survive.
But it's kind of ridiculous that it feels like they don't take any additional damage while building.

And do Guards need them to survive? Airborne need them to survive? :foreveralone:
Those sandbag can be used by them and it is ridiculous stupid. I start hate playing 1v1 because of this. Cons getting some vital point with sandbag and you need at least 3 times manpower based unit to flush it out. Very fun indeed.

Tommies need to survive? Hmm maybe that's one true. :foreveralone:

If Tommies trench should like -censored-, but I think Cons "SandWall" spamming should be like -censored- too.

Neither guards nor airborne can build them as far as I know.
But I think you're right when you say that it's hard as hell to get guards out of that cover.

How about flanking units behind sandbags? Or using indirect fire? Just saying!

Sandbags are annoying, but without them Soviets have nothing. I think they're extremely annoying when Guards are defending the sandbags. Modelsniping whoop whoop Kappa Kappa MVGame

That would require using something that isn't blob a-move and blob a-move is integral part of axis players playstyle, mentality and culture.

Sorry, but I can't take seriously "sandbags OP" thread.
I could understand it if soviets had stock long range infantry with long range nade and LMG upgrade, but they don't.

Haha, didn't meet them. I'm not A-moving. But I played a game where I nicely tried to flank (which is not easy on Crossing the Woods) but got sniped by Guards Whoopdiedoo

I've seen some threads about how OP the IR-Halftrack is. Im not kidding :snfPeter:

I like the penalty idea for both sides. Something like the penalty for engineers under repair.
