For christs sake people less is more. We don't need a new axis faction just for the sake of having one. WHo fucking cares???? Theres only a few vehicles/units that are left to add that are already not in okw or ostheer. Locking them behind another faction arbitrarily is stupid.

Commanders with units like panzer3 or jagdpanther and better balance is much better than inserting another faction.

Italy was shit, japan makes no sense and could not compete with late war allies. Just please let it die.

Have you read my post with africa corps with italy - they can have some really nasty units

Nothing against you or your post. But fuck italy, what do they have that germany doesn't possess? They had like 1-2 good tanks that were hardly produced. Germanies mainstay tanks were better and their infantry were certainly better. Afrika corps would be better off as an ardennes assault esque DLC rather than a multiplayer faction. As panzer3s, nebelwerfers, desert camo (ost base camo) etc are all regular german equipment that can simply be added over to okw or ostheer through commanders or stock units if the factions are ever given a overhaul.

they can get marder II and italy had 90 mm tank destroyer (Semovente m.41 da 90/53) , also p3 is good main line tank (like t 34/76 if not overshadowed by 34/85 and lucked in overpriced teching)
They got also nice mid game light tanks - fiat m10 - something between stuart and luchs

or for example
Schweres Panzerspähwagen SdKfz 231

Something between axis scout car and okw puma in at performance , higly mobile- upgradable with mg 34 gunner


Char B1 bis

It is mk4 churchill of france - similar look , similar abilities . could be used in africa corps because it was france tank

boost other tanks speed / attack / defence - what creators choose
lil canon that fire fast but cant pierse nothing stronger than scout cars

performance somewhat weaker than other tank destroyers in game but higher fire rate


It should be faction that rely on defensive early game , big pressure in mid game but also will be having bigger staying power than USA mainly due strong tank destroyers that can pierce even heavy tanks + good mediums (french wariant of churchill , p3 )
and best static emplacement flak 88



So afraca corps can have units and axis shouln´t be always about superior late game. They can have even faction that rely on mid game vehicle pressure and early game infantry + light car push and ending with more static play to defend what they gained (char bis and italic tanks destroyers can fight even is2) also flak 88 should counter russian cancer 85 meta.


And i thought even about commaders - they can have commaders that rely on air superiority , naval canons , some camos , smoke , other cheese stuff , 88 , but their commader will be mainly about some great mid game vehicle (each specialising at anything else)


EDIT: im not talking about Italy but im talking about infamous africa corps supported by italic and french units.

And also they can have wulfrahmen - it was udes from year 1940 , also nebelwerfers and goliath
+ never forgot Rommel agains Montgomery battles so i dont see problem (Montgomery introduced in British annoucement)

ITALIAN COMMANDER

0 CP Italian troops(Conscript clone for most part)

2 CP Italian tankette, a Greyhound with more armor and no canister shot or speed.

2 CP Bersergleri light infantry can be deployed.

7 CP that TD Hector talked about

12 CP * insert cool endgame Italian unit*


AFRIKA CORPS COMMANDER

0 CP munitions blitz, passive ability increases munitions but reduces fuel.

0 CP Pioniers Kar98 upgrade (gives em four Gren rifles for 50 muni)

0 CP 250 Halftrack by its self, 15 fuel 240 MP

3 CP officer can be deployed. Reduces cool down of abilities and can call in air raids.

8 CP Marder tank destroyer, think SU-76M

13 CP Command Tiger (yes, COMMAND TIGER.)

Soviets have a lot more numerous commander choices (as do Ostheer) since the heavy changes and will more in the future with the call in changes. OKW and USF are just hard limited to 6 and among those 6 there are just plain bad choices.

Elite Armored is essentially; "bugs the doctrine" and Recon has been nerfed so many times that it's simply not worth it anymore so make that 5 commanders for OKW and USF.


Do you really think limiting call ins, i was in the alpha so i now about the 85s, will change the soviet commanders used?

Add Japanese. No really. Faction with ridiculous MP boost with large sized squads with banzai charge ability. Tech gives them AT mines which they can strap to their bodies and kill tanks... Banzai increases taken damage, but no pin. Just no heavy armor...

I don't know... but anything but another German faction pls

but why? I mean land Lease is back. But apart from that I can't see any change happening. Soviets needs elite infantry and call-in tanks. Unless they do something cool with stock tanks, I highly doubt it. But I guess we will find out in a day

No need for new army. We just need new commanders for OKW/USF. And perhaps update, or modify some OH/SU commanders. New units tho are always welcome
