Soviet M4C Sherman or T-34-76 ????

The Sherman requires like 35 more fuel i just want to be sure if it's worth it, also is it affected by the T-34-76 bulletins ??. And if anyone has exact stats sharing them woud be appreciated thank you.

M4C shermans are actually pretty similar to T-34/85s. T-34/85s have more HP tho.

M4C Sherman a little bit better at everything - +10 armor, +20/+30/+40 penetration and etc, main bonus is 50 calibre upgrade, witch is quite good. But you can get first T-34/76 much faster... for recent patch.

Sherman also has better reload than the T-34/85 afaik, at vet the thing is like an autoloader

as Rollo says, the fire rate is great.

Its a decent little tank, unarguably better than a T34/76 in my opinion.

Shermans not viable cuz that commnaders is awful. 76s only in choice between 2.

Only tank hunter and guard motor are playble commanders so anything else is a big setback.

Commander is more viable than ever before because:

1) OKW base AA were nerfed, so fuel drop can be used now.
2) You can get both field reinforcements (M5 halftrack) and decent medium tank (M4C Sherman) through call-ins, so you have almost full T3 in your call-ins.
3) M17 (M5 upgraded with AA) was seriously buffed
4) M4C is better than T-34 in every aspect:
- AI (pintle MG, better gun, better reload)
- AT (better penetration, better reload)
- Survivability (better speed)

Therefore:
T1->T4:
double snipers
covered by DSHKa
into fast (because of fuel drops) SU-76 or SU-85 for early AT
into Katys for indirect
into M4C call-ins

T1->T2:
double snipers
into early AT gun for protection against light vehicles and mediums
mortars if indirect fire is needed
into M5 for AI/harassment/better field presence
into M4C call-ins

T2->T4:
cons-maxims-mortars mix
into AT guns for protection against light vehicles and mediums
into fast Katy against blobs/OKW bases
into M5 for AI/harassment/better field presence
into M4C call-ins

This allows very flexible strategy choice, which can be switched in the middle of the game.

Lend-Lease is my favourite Soviet commander so far.

Yep, +1.

And also didn't the Assault Guards get a semi buff with the new PPsH as well? This commander gives you so many options + flexibility it's great.

Literally every ability in the commander is useful, even the conscript repair ability.

I think this is currently the best Soviet commander, call me crazy.

1v1 is totaly different from 234s. So if you play 234s you cant teach what to do 1v1. SO I wont even read that sorry. Cuz 234s things wont work 1v1.
Fr me all team modes are crazy. I dislike them.

Very good build orders going to borrow a few ;). Fuel drop is still not very reliable against OKW, yes they nerfed their AA but i played a match (1v1) against OKW recently and no Fuel drop was able to make it to my base. They need to fix this.

cuz no answer to hmg, mortar, sniper early -mid game on urban maps.

Also the Ppsh on the "Assault" Guards that come in the M5 was apparently ninja-buffed:

Guards variant of PPSH now have their own stats.
Guards PPSH / Conscript PPSH
near accuracy: 0.782 / 0.518
mid accuracy: 0.115 / 0.115
far accuracy: 0.265 / 0.23
moving accuracy: 0.8 / 0.75

I had some games with the lend lease commander yesterday(2vs2). This commander is after the patch even better. DSHKa, guards etc. :) anyway I had on some maps still problem with the fuel drop. Wasted 400 munition because the planes direction is always the enemy base and gets killed before the fuel drops.

In this case, I would not necessarily stick close to the numbers in the gamedata, but the more relevant point is the onlineperformance of M4c is far before the T34 / 76th. the upgradeable mounted hull mg is another argument against the T34.
2:0 for sherman,and the lend-lease atm is a fantastic option for soviets now.

I would say the Soviet M4C is better than the t-34/76 naturally. It would be better to compare it to the t-34/85. I have found the m4c sherman to be a little bit more effective vs Inf than the t-34/85 AOE wise. However, I still think the t-34/85 is a much more effective tank with a smaller fuel cost.

BUT.......the M4C is a little bit faster than the t-34/85, which helps. :foreveralone:
