Imo the T-34/76 should be switched with the T-34/85. Guards motor now calls in a T-34/76 at about 6 CPs while the T-34/85 can be built for 130 fuel without choosing a doctrine.

Just give them slightly better AI firepower. Either via buffing the MGs or buffing the main gun by slightly decreasing scatter or slightly changing the AoE profile of the shell so it has a bigger area where it does significant damage to infantry.

There is no need for any other changes as the AT capabilities of the T34/76 are fine at the moment. For this reason, I also disagree with a price drop as it would make the T34/76 vs P4/P5/P6 match-ups imbalanced in the T34/76 favor.

Or give its old Ram back, man i miss the old Ramming ability, once i Had a Game there is 12 tanks disabled in a small forest area it start a panther try to flank got Rammed their tank rush to aid and we rammed all 1 by 1 so my teammate and I rammed our 6 T34/76 with 6 P4/Panther and 1 remaining T34/76 is trying to finish the job and both side infantry fighting heavily around it and CE and Pios both try to repair their own tanks under fire and both side is throwing off map art on that small area, it was so fun.
Ehm no, in 2013 it was a ramming machine before a buff, now its a tank that need to fight, but nowadays it's kinda useless because of accuracy and cost. A buff or a cost change will be nice.

Give it better AI in the form of improved MGs or just revert the RoF fix.

Sure mate; lets make the soviets even more powerful. Shocks in T0 maybe?

Soviets being OP has nothing to do with t-34. If you compare t-34 to p4 or sherman it's just a bad unit. bad vs tanks, bad vs infantry, bad vet, low survivability, not cheap.

May i add that a buff for the t34 should also effect the kv1. This tank is nearly as expensive as a panther, but is slow as a KT and has zero AI or AT whatsoever:foreveralone:

I think that would actually balance it. The Soviet player would have to build T3 in order to get a T-34/85.

Simply buffing the T-34/76 isn´t right either as that would offset the Panzer IV - T-34/76 balance. The T-34/85 would be more expensive than a buffed T-34/76. But seeing T-34/76 outperforming Panzer IVs would simply be silly. Also the T-34/76 in skilled hands can annihilate infantry, just drive over them.

lmao

much of the power of soviet faction is because of t-34/85s, so what would adding them to the tech tree change? a player building many 85s has no fuel for a potential heavy, and there is not such a thing like doctrinal mark target

although guard army having access to worse equipment while being described as 'given the best equipment' is amusing though, not gonna happen imo

honestly i think after 23rd there will be much more different and important problems about soviet armor effectiveness

Seriously who need sense here?

Volks popping screck from their ass?
M5 popping up a quad?
Weapon rack is locked forever unless commander approve?
MG34 shooting completely harmless popcorn?
Stuka used to drop fallshimmjager?

+1 :lolol:

I could see the T-34 being a bit cheaper and not destroying the game. but like 5 fuel less and 10MP less.

It's pretty bad unless you have several of them. But I don't know if reducing the cost would break balance.

You are wrong mate. All accusations of SU being OP derives from GMC/con control in 1v1 and to a degree 2v2. The stock army is just soo subpar to anything else....

On a side note: It's really obsolete to talk about that so close before the patch anyway

Those who say that soviets will get nerfed next patch know nothing, just saying :snfPeter:

Either that or they are delusional :snfPeter:

Or maybe they are actually in the actual alpha, not the shit that closed last week :snfPeter:

The t34 is just bad unit period, making it cheaper or reverting its old rof back isn't going to make it a better tank to use its stuck in a shit tier, with a faction with the worst teching in the game. This just goes back to the fact the soviets need a complete tech over haul
