could you implement a statistic how the winrate chances compared to the week before?
right now this includes all patches
with the comparison to last week you could see a shift towards one direction (OKW op, US up... stuff like that)

That is a great suggestion. I will try to find time do that someday :)

The only issue with the 4v4 rates is top 200 of 4v4 is a complete circle jerk. I think you'd be better off confining your parameters a bit. You can get into the top 200 just by playing 10 games with the same team. Same with 3v3 maybe top 50 or so would be nice to see.

** Edit **

Maybe adding a scaling feature would give us a more accurate depiction. 1v1 top 200 is much more competitive than 4v4 top 200.

1v1: top 200
2v2: top 100
3v3: top 50
4v4: top 25

Also for team games, are you using AT or the random 3v3/4v4 ladders?

The 4vs4 rates are so fucked up because it lacks in allies player and leads therefore to unbalanced elo match ups.

As a top 200 axis player you constantly face 4 or 5 digit ranked enemies while your mates are top 200 too.
While as an allie top 200 player you get only noob mates because not enough players in the search pool.
Obviously you gonna lose when you face good players while having only noob mates - that leads to frustrating and even less skilled allies players will play random team games. Therefore you see far more axis players than allied players on the charts in 4vs4.
I think the introduction of a new allied faction will help here a lot because it will bring more allies player into the game pool. So there's no balance problem, but rather a elo/ranking/matchup problem.

I think relic should generally not mix up the elo range too far, even if it means we search much longer for games.

AT 4vs4 is completely different and the winrates hardly differ between allies/axis.

Yes, I just sent him a messsage to see if we can get a better data set for these modes. Right now its using the random ladders, which, well gives you a more random data set. For 1v1 the data works fine, bigger game modes should be scaled down and with AT - not random. Hopefully, if he has time he will give us another look at the data. Cheers again to Legends.

Wow, thank you for that great amount of informations.

I can understand now what the general problem
about our coh2 community is. If I look at the most played game mode and at the same time into the balance section, everything makes sense for me...

Wait, those chart are just preference of faction, but not win rate.

Then it doesn't really mean anything. :(

Interesting data you got there.

I wonder why so few players play 3v3 (top 200). I assumed 1v1 is the least played game mode.

Do the win rates include games vs non-top-200 players?

Lack of map Vetos. Some 4v4 maps are wayyyyy to big for 3v3.
