Permanently BannedPanther i'd say is the only real way to deal with a jackson. Infantry if your opponent isn't quite that good. ATleast in the late game. Early game you can bum rush it while you still have the edge, but nothing trades well against a jackson and the cumulative and reliable damage it causes to you over time will put you on the backfoot. Its almost like the obersoldaten of tank destroyers.
Not gonna say its OP except for the AP rounds, but its the best TD in the game pound for pound.

I will say that double jacksons is very hard to deal with. Add in a scott and your supporting riflemen. You can't really simply just compensate with shrecked infantry because the scott, just like the jackson is extremely cost effective and therefore share great synergy with each other.
This strategy requires tremendous amount of micro, the average player will have a difficult time kiting with scott/Rifiles and pulling Jacksons back from Shreks.

Seems like a fitting result of losing your vehicle with the crew outside.
You can always banzai them into the MG42s. I don't really see a problem with the crews having high popcap. They can even keep their veterancy for the next vehicle. If they have no vet - kamikaze!!1!

Best way to deal with Jackson is same way as Snipers, use shot blockers to prevent it from kiting.

I am not sure how the current meta truly stacks up... but prior to this patch it was certainly the case that a full 100 pop US late game army was not going to stand up to a 100 pop axis army with much more survivable heavies. harden the cap and you probably have to lower the pop cost and upkeep of US units.
