Well its all gone to shit now. Somebody has leaked the alpha forums password to non-alpha players.

But not on a large scale I guess?

Honestly, the NDA is not really a bad thing. Relic tests alot of changes, and alot of things are changed quite drastically in the tests.

I'd imagine people going absolutely bonkers on the forums and flinging shit at the devs (except alot harder this time) just because some of the proposed changes aren't exactly well though out.

It's sad that their solution is giving out a single password for forum access. It's really not hard to link forum accounts to Steam accounts.

But apparently too hard.

Or

It may well be their plan to subvert the NDA by making their controls weak

it almost makes me wonder if relic are really double agents on our side.

guys, DO NOT ANY UNDER CIRCUMSTANCE, break this dumbfoundingly simple login system and god forbid you share any of this, wink wink, nudge nudge.

'cos it couldn't be that easy if they really cared about security? right? like, they're not that incompetent? right?

have an nda to appease whomever has begrudged it upon them but make it stupid simple to crack/compromise? i mean they haven't come out and said anything yet, they did when it came down to mods, and even that in hindsight i suppose could be construed as forced legalese. is this more of the same?

TBH I don't have much time testing because of work and stuff but the whole thing about discussing what is allowed and what is not makes me even want to play less.

It's yet again to see that all this NDA stuff has no purpose at all.
I would give a lot to read a explanation from Relic what the main reason for the NDA is.

That's incredible how people are getting crazy around that stuff. I hope I don't break any NDA if I say I loled hard when I read some comments on the alpha forum about that shit.
Not I'm agreeing with NDA leaks but some comments are just amazing :D

Don't know who deserves better the other, Relic its toxic community or the community Relic amateurism...

Relic take note.

When there's a will, there's a way.

Do they really expect that in today's world that they can control information in a public sphere such as the internet?

*facepalm*

Its relics marketing strategy.

Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if it was relics marketing strategy.

Free, self propelling hype train.

In regards to NDA itself, well, you can't haul a random crate of guinea pigs without expecting a rat or two.
