1v1

Festung Support with skipping T3 (Command PzIV) with Pak43 and late-game Panther and trolling with railway arty in late game.

Ostruppen into T4

2v2

Joint Operations agasint ML20 or 120spam. Counter barrage is just amazing...

3v3 and 4v4 it's pure non meta game.

3x Pios+flamers + 2x MG, 1x HT to reinforce into Brummbar spam (my favourite strat).

I focused only on Ost cause it's hard to play non-meta USF or OKW cause no matter which doctrine/tier you will go, it's always somekind of meta. As for Sov, I dont have "no-meta" commanders.

Tho, in team games, I like to spam T34/76 with any doctrines without call ins.

Fortified armor in 2v2
If there is an ISU I call in elefant.
Otherwise tech to T4. Panther in hulldown outranges jacksons and can take on is2s with ease if you have one atgun behind it.
USF has trouble dealing with a hullen down panther since jacksons dont have the range advantage.
And if I need mobility I just stop the hulldown and get a fast panther again.

interesting!

I have been using Lend Lease commander with T1. The Shermans call ins are pretty nice as well.

I've been playing around with jaeger infantry for the past few days. The ambush camo on infantry can lead to some fun situations... Also I love g43s and the stuka support is always on point.

The whole point of playing with JLI and StormTroopers, the ambush camo/uniform.

he meant jäger infantry doctrine.

You know what's funny? There are A LOT of so-called "non-meta" play styles posted here and people claim that they are viable and you can win with them, but we have countless threads about how "stale" the game is right now.

I went command tank for the longest time, but got tired of getting stomped on by 120s and is2s. Caved in and now I cheese with the mechanized doc. Feels good to have ez wipes as ostheer.

I know what you mean as regards to tecking, but there are plenty of underused units and fresh ways to play OKW.

You can call in spam P4s.
You can convert Fuel>muni and spam G43s fussies + off map arty barrage.
Spam Ostwinds backed by Rakketens
Hell I bet you could rush S Tiger in certain situations in 1v1

I've used Festung Armor in 1on1 vs USF quite a bit. Mobile defense if I want to tech up to tier4.

I wanted to try this out, but I kept thinking that Pumas and Command tank will delay Panthers quite heavily? Perhaps useable in 4v4.

I like to use irregulars in team games because they drop LMGS when they die that my cons can pick up.

those LMGs are apparently half as good as the gren ones though so it's generally a bad idea to pick them up.

personally i love the two commanders with stuka smoke; it's an amazing ability.

The stuka smoke is pretty cool for only 40 munis... and it can serve as an even cheaper recon ability!

And the 250 with LMG grens in provides the best harrasment force Werh can lay their hands on. Really helps with map control on big maps.

I was Tank Hunter when Tank Hunter wasn't cool.....

After seeing Beemer pull it off, I tried it and it was a fun change. The 5 muni mines are one of the best bargains in the game. Just don't forget to move off of them after planting. Squad wipes are much better when they're standing on the mines than you, and yes, one of those mines will wipe most or all of a squad. In general, my micro and macro aren't quite up to the task but it beats playing Guard Motor or Shock Rifle all of the time. Rage quit when someone loses Panther to 5 muni mine plus 30 muni mine and 2 SU76's is worth it.

ML-20 doctrines get an honorable mention, in the few times that they can be used since everyone has CAS.

USF Armor kind of fun - sometimes have 30-40 crushes with M10's, it's like using MS Paint with the big eraser, just on mistakes that look like Sturmpios

The LMG isn't unique, it's just that partisans and irregulars have a baffling -50% accuracy modifier at all times.
