Just had a game where i was placed with a first timer (12hours experience) versus some top 100 players. Im currently ranked in the top 40 for Ost 2v2 and i felt a bit let down by the matchmaker. I'd rather wait for 30 minutes trying to find a game than be play an extremely unbalanced match. I sure hope relic does something about it.

Who else has had this happen to them?

It's about 7 am right now in Europe and about midnight in the United States.
So there shouldn't be much players playing online right now and that makes the matchmaker go lucky.
There is always a chance to be ranked against a non-yet-ranked player but the matchmaker usually tries to avoid that. But by the fact that it's so early the chance becomes much bigger.

Rosbone: But I agree, the cost to get a full decent Coh game pushing $115 US is not the best idea. Especially when it needs so much more work for casuals.
