And I can have a wet dream about getting a tortoise with HE/HVAP toggle?
Even the Maus makes more sense. Tortoise neither saw any action nor was it even deployed to a war region during the war.

Several of them were, however, finished, which puts it automatically above the Maus I'm afraid.

In the summer of 1945 ONE Tortoise was shipped to Germany for testing. It was a prototype. Post war. The Maus was also a prototype. And two were finished at the end of the war. That actually makes the Maus a more logical choice. Though both tanks in this game would be bullshit.

No, six Tortoises (that of course were never actually used) were made the end of the war and only one was ever tested. So it's slightly less silly than the Maus.

No, Maus had two hulls and one turret completely by the end of the war, so there was just one prototype and one hull.

But yeah fuck no keep those things out, there are limits even in this game.

Do you think Relic will go as far to put prototypes in the game?

Landkreuzer never even reached the prototype stadium.
In fact there was no plan in constructing this thing at all.
It was just a piece of propaganda.

Commandos with Sten guns and grenades, British assault troops.

The brits, AFAIK, would be one of the few armies available in the war Relic can legitimately use body armour for!

Not a stock unit, but if we get a commander based around the single unit that got almost all of the bloody stuff we could have two infantry units that have an armour value rather than just one.

Black prince would be nice to see. Of course if Relic wants to get into adding prototypes, which I dont see is a problem with the Persing in vcoh and I&R STGs in WFA.

26 Pershings actually saw action in Europe (which is more than, say, the 19 or so Sturmtigers built) and the IR scoped STGs were in the field testing phase. The real problem is that the IR scopes the Germans were using near the end of the war were piss useless. Yes, sure, it let you see at night, but it also emitted light, so everyone you were trying to fight knew exactly where you were.

The Black Prince never saw action. It'd be an odd fit anyways- a heavy tank with a dedicated AT gun?

VCOH took place in 1944 Pershing didnt see action until 45, same with I&R STGs they were technically there in 44 but didnt see combat use until 45 thats the point I was making.

Ah, the Paras are a bunch of scrubs compared to the Green Berets of the Royal Marines. :-P

Paras would probably make a better commander though...unless they add a swimming mechanic for RMs.

Please. There is a reason 75% of the S.A.S. are drawn from the Paras.
