Carpiquet - in RL, it was a Canadian advance - and pretty difficult

I'm glad that the map team at Relic has been willing to tinker with some of the old COH1 maps. I like the small gap in the hedge by the VP on Langres, for example. Curious to see more of Angoville, but I noticed some changes in the single game I've played on it.

This is why you encourage your Mapmakers!
I can say there are plans afoot, which will hopefully involve Strategists in testing adapted maps; it is in the planning stages right now, so it may be 2-3 months before you see an outcome.
We could put up a poll here, if you wish.
Ruins of Ruen?
It was an automatch map I think but I think too many thought it was too US friendly.
Yay! for more community involvement!
And yeah, you nailed it. It was Ruen, much like Dumont, I don't think it was a particularly good map, but they seemed to flow well and were nice to look at.
Is there anything from the single player/tow that could be used in automatch? There were a lot of cheers when General Mud was added.

NOT SEMOISKY, god, take it away, please.
What was called the 2v2 pretty big one with a lot of hedges? That one was nice.

The scheldt, Lyon, Hochwald cap, Achelous river...those were the maps that tested the true "skill" of the players! ( i think COH 2 needs those maps to bring back the nostalgia of COH 1. Keepo)
I sure hope you're being sarcastic. All the lame camper maps with bridges .

There is already a Duclair remake.
although i never played coh1 duclair, this duclair is open, varied and much fun. i wish this and red ball express gets into automatch pool next time.

Generally I really miss those 'industrial' style of maps where you fight in a harbour or a industrial complex.
CoH2 is more about landscape fights I guess.

Probably Sturzdorf, Lorraine, Duclair, and for 3v3 Vimoutiers.
Lorraine & Vimoutiers - pretty please?

So, the poll might be:-
...
1v1
- Lyon
...
Wasn't Lyon a 2v2 map? At least when I played it in automatch, it was always 2v2.

I'll happily take your word for it - when I checked back in vCoH just now, it seemed to suggest (2) as in 1v1 !!
