They did not carried remote controlled bombs.

So gameplaywise it should be like a seeker misslie targeted at an german tank with maybe a 30% chance that it will target a random soviet tank.

But I dont like the idea of sucide bomb dogs, So I would prefer to see mine-seeking dogs for soviets.

ah the history of these dogs see this was a total failure infact its kinda funny.

so they trained the dogs to carry bombs that detonated when they touched the bottom of the tank. (they later switched to remote control.) however since the soviets used soviet tanks to train them to achieve this task often times they would just run under a t34 and blow it up. that or they wouldn't do it at all.

i wouldn't mind (would love) seeing the Germans have Goliath and Soviets have dog unit however I imagine alot of people would go up in arms over such a unit as its cruel to dogs or some bs. politically it could be a nightmare for thq.

I don't think objecting to dogs getting blown up makes you a PETA tard, or if it does, then we should all be PETA tards.

Slight difference in bloodthirsty dog trying to kill you and trained dog just happily doing what his master told him, then (bam)

Dogs shouldn't be a unit by themselves (maybe some kind of long cooldown ability - like PE).
And btw, the recon dog thing would be pretty lame - as a dog won't say, wuut I've just spotted 2 gren squads and a sniper !

I'd prefer to see dogs used within a close-combat squad. For 2 duties, mine sweep and cannon fodder.

in this case hes referring to the russians employing dogs as suicide bombers. in this case they would work alot or exactly like Goliaths do in coh. (they used it for a brief stint in 1941.)

I rly don't see an issue if such a unit was/is introduced in the game and for the simply reason being that some arguments go with "it's not ok because people would object for it being an animal".

So in short... their argument is that killing human beings is ok while dogs is not in video games, kinda absurd don't you think?
